In all the cases I have seen and heard, the bank got so fraustrated that the HO sent memos to BM never to add the bank as a party to a deal. Thus the bank do not guarantee these transactions because it even puts them at risk. You cant also put a lien on another person's account and no bank will authorise it unless its a court order. The bank can only confirm that so so money is in an account and is placed on lien for a period of time. They wont hold the money for you in deals like this.

Anyway, I asked if have you seen the funds and asked a third party to confirm that the money is there? That's what I mean by confirmation. If you can release the details too to confirm fund is clean and true, I can make some calls and if its geniue, we can deal.

This is the usual line. Now the buyers will tell you that they will pay you first provided they can confirm the availability of the fund. I am so so sure that the money is not available, or whoever is selling does not have the mandate. So what the sellers do is to request for the availability of the naira. Lol. And by the time you check the number of middle men, you'll just laugh at how long it is.

I am not discrediting your market, I am only discrediting your process because in most cases (if not all), it turns out to be a pure waste of time.

And yes, $100m is a tiny fraction of what some companies can buy in a day. And they dont do all these things. Authorised officers effect transfers even online. Brother, if you think otherwise, then it appears you probably do not know how these work. They only need to confirm the seriousness and geniuses of the funds before purchasing.
