bluaero:Hehehe. Talking about rape as if the media is not awashed with the news of the group whose stock in trade is rape. |
Meiji:Certainly it is an insult because the prophethood of Jesus Christ is in the Muslim Holy Book but is anything about the muslim Holy prophet written in the Bible? Certainly no. So why will they just start saying that to us. A herbalist that worships a tree is entitled to his belief but he shouldnt make unpleasant comments about the belief of others. |
chimauga:Before u continue with ur baseless comparism, note that the muslims believe in Jesus Christ. It is u christians that believe in him alone. |
lordkhalifa:I'm not getting ur point cos this is not English language. |
toyinid78:Pls write in English language. |
Meiji:I'm talking about insult and u are talking about ideological differences. The prophethood of Jesus Christ is duly captured in our Holy Book and that is what we go by. I can assure u that any muslim who insult Christ will be attacked by his fellow muslim. If saying that Jesus Christ is a prophet translates to insult, it means that they are insulting their Holy prophet too because he is also regarded as a prophet. So, it is just about ideology rather than insult. |
Fenzyflames:Pls school children are coming here to learn ![]() |
ivandragon:Just hear urself; some muslims went on rampage, but u mischieviously ommitted the reason. The way ur brother wants to cause problem by naming a dog after the president is just the same way ur christian brother was insulting their religion even in their own house. |
CSTR13:And who has the monopoly of triggering violence? |
LordNicvuitton:Wish u can render legal service in defence of the 'oppresed'. |
Dajugba:Did u learn English language in the classroom or just by the roadside? Just asking. |
SuperBlack:U dey mind dem? Rather than advising him on the best thing to do, pocket lawyers were all on nairaland justifying his action. Thought they wanted to know what he can be charged for. I'm sure they have seen one now. |
BlackSeptember:U might be right but ur written English is not helping matters. |
CindyeMerAld:Thought u said he hasn't committed any offence? Which evidence do want him to wipe off again? Rather than advising him on what to do, keep compounding his problem. |
putin3:So human beings still eat animals as dirty as pigs? Just asking. |
These christians are always out looking for problem with the muslims. May be that one thinks he is on nairaland. For God's sake, what is the meaning of this rubbish? U will see them insulting muslims everywhere for no reason only to turn around and start forming the victim. After creating the storm, they will be asking why the rain. Has any muslim ever insulted Jesus Christ? This thing is getting too much. And they know very well that a muslim will never take that from u except if u hide behind the laptop to do that. We shall see the end of this problem they looking for upandan. |
phillthy:First, wood is not a conductor of heat. Secondly, I have responded to similar argument on this thread and u can check through the thread as I can't be repeating it all the time. However, if u are not satified with my explanation, then u can get back to me and be specific on the area of disagreement. Tnx. |
ironheart:I just tire o! People must just oppose the govt. Could remember when CBN tagged some items 'obslolete' and decided to auction them at ridiculously low price to the low cadre staff (a functional deep freezer was sold at #50) some members of staff were just complaining upandan that they should have been given money to buy new ones as if seperate provision was made for the purchase of household items for staff. These items were bought brand new and these are the people that will still go to the market searching for tokumbo items even if they are given money for brand new ones. Meanwhile, this was done at the initiative of the Zonal Controller and they still bought as much as they could get. SMH. |
Dreamwaker:But all along, the argument was based on the assumption that the car was completely made of wood as contained in the caption of the thread. |
Thisis2raw:I get ur point but I will rate the monkey better than u ![]() |
Okeikpu:Prove him wrong or continue eating ur grass. |
Thisis2raw:Tell me one thing which is not true of all he has said and if u can't do dat, u nothing but a goat. |
Thisis2raw:Of all what he said, let us know which one is not true. This is the true Man of God who has risen above religious and ethnic bigotry. If u think he said all these because of money, pls mention ten pastors that cannot be bought over. What u want him to do is for him to be spreading ignorance, then u will clap hands for him and say he is the real MOG abi? Real Men of God don't do things just to be praised by humans. |
KwaraRat:As I have stated, I am not a student of history and I'm not ready to take classes, so pls stop spaming my mentions with this ur ideology. I'm not interested. This shall be my last response and if u disturb me further, I will forward ur post to the appropriate quarters. |
Dreamwaker:U got it wrong bro. And I did not see any jaw breaking words in his comment that will throw me off balance and be deceived and indeed I look at people with high penchant for unfamilliar words as clowns even if their opinions are reasonable. Back to the topic. First, I will like to let u know that I'm an engineer by training. I applauded the poster which I had quoted for the fact that he was very fast in identifying the likely limitation of the so called invention. Anybody with little idea of thermal conductivity of materials has no reason to counter his opinion. This is for the fact that metals, by their nature, are good conductors of heat and this property is of utmost importance in its use for heat-related systems. When metals are heated at one end, the heat is easily transfered to other parts and this has the effect of easily dissipating the heat to the environment depending on the ambient temp. The final effect is lower temperature on the metal. Have u ever heard of heat sink? Do u know the integral part of heat sink? The wood, on the other hand cannot conduct heat and as such, when heat is applied at one end, the heat can't be distributed to other part to facilitate easy dissipation and this result in excessive heat at that point. The effect of this is that the wood fibres are easily weakened if not burnt. The issue of wood will not burn if it is not exposed to naked flame is also not tenable in the field of thermodynamics. A quick experiment; go to any nearby carpenter, get some wood chaffs or saw dust. Put them inside a pot placed on fire and allow it for a moment. U will agree with me that the wood chaff will easily get roasted when compared to metal fillings. So guy, get ur facts right before u label anyone a pessimist. |
ganiyu26:I have explained my position, check through the thread. |
izzieman:Guy, relax ur mind, I'm an engineer and I know what I'm talking about. I only praised him because his brain was fast in observing the limitation. Now let me explain a concept to u. Metals are very good conductors of heat as opposed to woods. What this means is that for metals, heat, at the point of contact with the metal can be easily spread to other parts thereby facilitating easy dessipation to the environment and a resultant lower temperature is easily achieved. Wood, on the other hand, does not have this property and as such the excessive heat at that point of contact result in extreme high temperature which will end up roasting the wood. U reffered to an aircraft made of wood but in the same vain, u agreed that it is no longer in use but did u bother to know why? Woods are generally lighter than metals and this is a good property that can be harnessed in the aircraft industry since an integral principle of the aicraft is bouyancy but why are woods not being used? The answer lies in the explanation above. So just chill. ![]() |
valx2:Kikikikikikiki, I laff in Chinese. Ur desperation is epic. So desperate to the point of cloning my comment (hiding my original comment cos u are not proud of what u eat as food) to the words u want then u quoted urself, hahahahaha. Well, such comment is ur creation (welldone for a good job) and the possesive pronoun used is very appropriate. U own and eat pigs. Animals that exhume human corpses and consume them as food and that is what I will eat as protein, God forbid. Check out the animals we eat; cows, goats, sheep and chicken datz all. Dirty pig eaters . If u are not proud to be associated with pigs, why consuming them as food na? |
Hehehe. I cant fit laff. I swear these people will kill their parents if they are sure money will come out of it. They are just ready to do anything as long as it is for money, they don't give a damn if the whole of their household will be wipped off. Desperate money mongers. |
Funny why states in the nd still borrow despite 13% extra alloc without anything on ground that reflect such huge alloc. Imagine Bayelsa with a population of less than 1.5m earning more than Lag (over 10m) and Kano (over 10m) and they will still need bailout. What exactly are they doing with their money? NDDC and MoND are are in charg of capital and other developmental project for God's sake. |
