So here is my timeline

First time applicant

Applied June 11th 2021
Biometrics June 16th, 2021
Did an upfront medicals on 15th June, 2021 and submitted through webform.Medicals was updated June 23rd, 2021
After I didn’t get NSE request, I submitted the documents through webform on 13th of July through webform and also sent mails.
Apart from the normal forms you fill during application, I submitted my letter of funding about 20k from my school (LLM program) and
I submitted statement of account of my Sponsor who is my Uncle ( we have the same surname). As at the time I submitted statement of account he had about 60k cad, however when I got my gcm notes in September, I saw 25k as available funds , I was already very worried cause I didn’t know where 25k was coming from, I never stated that amount in my application as available funds (my guess is that my uncle touched the money in his account) but God showed mercy.
Letter of sponsorship.
For home ties I didn’t submit any land documents, I only mentioned my Uncle’s land address. I also submitted data page of my mum and brother (however I was scared cause my brother is not in Nigeria, just my mom), and death certificate of my late dad, submitted my letter of employment only and my personal bank statement which was about 100k closing balance. Lol
In all I was very scared that my application wasn’t perfect as I didn’t really have much for home ties, sometimes I prayed, sometimes I only cried but I’m super elated God showed up.

No ghost update.

Eligibility didn’t start until I got my Bvl and PPR on 22nd September, 2021

However, I contacted my MP in early August and he responded by saying that my Eligibility had started but my account was still showing background check. So it’s not easy having faith for what you can’t see��. I kept on sending mails too.

Since a week now a friend of mine applied and he haven't see NSE request. Please what do you think that can cause that.

They haven’t sent NSE request since May. It’s not peculiar to him.

I am happy and sad at the same time. I just traveled to the US and got in this midnight before I woke up or because I don't check my phone till I slept Canada PPR drop.

Now I am so confused, frustrated and don't know what to do.

I have come to give God all the praise and encourage someone here who's reading.
We need to just believe, have patience and pray that all will end in praise.
I put in my application on 15th March, 2021. Did my biometrics on 19th March, 2021.
I wasn't hearing from them, no update ..nothing. I even had to defer my program because of the delay. I was sending emails and webforms everytime. The responses I was getting were APPLICATION STILL UNDER REVIEW. To God be the glory, I just received my PPR today, infact this morning. It will surely end in praise for all of US

I just want to share my application timeline to give someone hope.

Application Date: 15th March, 2021
Biometric request: 16th March,2021
Biometric done: 19th March,2021
Medical request: 15th July,2021
Medical passed: 23rd July, 2021
BVL: 7th August, 2021
PPR: 9th August, 2021

So, I got this response from IRCC through an MP.
Looking at that, it's easy to say that the new documents I sent caused this delay. It's a lesson to everyother applicants to be mindful of how to send documents especially a Replacement Documents. If possible, don't send a Replacement Documents except if you are asked to do so by VO.

How long did it take for your mp to respond to you?

When I did my application online, I submitted the my sponsors statement of account. That was the only account I listed in the letter of sponsorship as his account. At the time of the application he had 20million in his account. Now, I informed him to get the MBS certificate and he just told me that there’s no money in the account anymore. He suggested that he uses a new account even though it bears the same name and in the same bank. Now even in that new account he doesn’t have enough money and he wants to transfer from another of his account to that new account.

Can I send this account instead even if money will be transferred to this new account that was not initially included in his letter of sponsorship as his account? Can I also attach a letter of explanation letting them know is to just show more funds?

Won’t it look suspicious if money is transferred a day to sending the MBS certificate even if it’s his own account and his money? I’m really confused

Also, how many months statement of account is required for the MBS and is it true a minimum of 10million must have been in the account consistently for 6 months?

Will I still be able to get NSE request if the closing amount of the SOA is 20million but during the six months there was a time the amount in the account was 5million then 10million and 30,000?
I heard the minimum of 10million must have been constant and not less even though the amount in the account presently is 20million naira.
