parags: Dey play . This man caused the deaths of people by his utterances . It is wrong and he should be sent to jail!!!
He caused death through utterances but people who are on killing spree displaying all manner of sophisticated weapons are granted presidential pardon and are being pacified. This disparity in handling this issues in a same country is what gives people like you joy and boost your ego.
His jail term doesn't stop you from being an online idiot who is short distance away from being either kidnapped or killed by the rampaging Fulani terrorist and bandits. His conviction is a flex which doesn't guarantee your security in a country that is bedevilled with insecurity. Enjoy the momentary thrill that comes from injustice because it happens on someone who you can't but hate for daring to be courageous.
seunowa: Where in the world has American government been able to restore security before? They went Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan but they left those places more insecure than they met them. Do you know how many people have die in USA to gun violence only in 2025? Over eleven thousand people have die to just gun violence in USA alone in 2025. If Nigeria government can't provide security for her citizens then no one would....
The federal government has failed in her responsibility to secure the country. News of terrorism doesn't move this failed government to act. Since they don't want to discharge the duty the stole power for, let America take over the responsibility
RichBoy247: You have time to type all this long story, definitely you are jobless, go and get a job.
As for use and dump that you mentioned, Tinubu never ever dump his people. Several of those that were with him in 1993 when he was first elected Senator are Ministers in this administration, that is why some hate filled people are wailing. Even most marriages don’t last as long.
While you celebrate Tinubu for recycling those who were with him since 1993, I'm sure you and a lot of people in your family are unemployed and struggles to have three square meal daily. Your strength and joy comes from typing and defending rubbish. Unaware Mental slave.
porthouse7: I am that you are igbo and the message hurt ur heart
it doesn't matter my ethnicity. I'm amazed at your stupidity and the level of your bigotry. Without ethnic profiling, you would probably have no idea or contribution to make to the thread
porthouse7: If igbo support you, u will have problem
Fool flexing muscle on nairaland for mere like and thrills. You must find a way to bring in a whole ethnic group into the supreme Court judgement. Spit on your face, you useless frustrated tribal bigot.
enemyofprogress: both of them are correct. One is British English, while the other one is American English. I chose to use the American English.
Accept correction. Stop insisting in your ignorance Decease refers to departure from life. Same thing as DEATH, which is not exactly what you meant by that expression
[quote author=enemyofprogress post=128881852]Poverty is a decease [/quote
It's not an issue of poverty here okay. I'm sure you've not entered a private Jet before.. He's just being effusive in demonstrating appreciation and gratitude.
pansophist: Go get a BSC degree in Computer science from the University of the People in California. It's free, and you can complete it earlier than four years if you take it seriously.
in four years, you will be four years older, so grab a degree along the way. YOu can study from anywhere, and work while studying. You only need a laptop, internet and drive.
Paying for school This Quote Below is what I found on their website. "UoPeople does not charge for tuition, books, or campus expenses. You’ll never have to pay fees for courses upfront. We charge only a $60 application fee, and a $120 assessment fee at the end of each course. This is a huge savings compared to U.S. public universities who charge on average $37,396 for a bachelor's degree. Over the course of your studies at UoPeople, you can expect to pay a total of $4,860—less if you have credits to transfer in! Our mission is to make it possible for everyone to afford a degree," From what's available on their website, it means one has to have enough fund for payment at various stages of assessment
biggal: Please classmates, help me confirm if yours is like this. I have completed 8 tests but only 7 is showing. Wood from finland is not showing. Is yours showing 8 completed tests.
I guess you're first to have completed the course for now
maak400: No need to ask them this question o, let's be patient nah.
Exactly my thought as well. The question was entirely unnecessary one. It gives the impression that his motivation for the online course was free university admission.
pansophist: Yes, you can. That's a very good amount.
From the second week of January next year, all schools will open for September 2024 admission intake, apply to the cheapest schools. If that time reaches, mention me, and let's walk through the process here.
Lots of schools offer a 50 percent tuition discount for students that pay on time, so you might end up paying about 4k euros in tuition, even better if you get a scholarship, which they easily give out.
Alternatively, countries like Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania are sure bankers. Tuition fees for bachelor programs are below 3k euros, and a maximum of 4k for masters, but mostly lower.
The only downside with the baltic countries is that they do not have an embassy in Nigeria, and you may need to travel to Egypt for it, but if you can make that trip, you will get your visa. They hardly deny if your application is legit.
The only thing that makes your 10M naira small is school fees, nothing else. For food and accommodation, you can always survive if you are willing to start working the next day after arriving.
All in all, I repeat, don't waste time. In your japa journey, your enemy is not money, it's time. in a year's time, it may be 1usd to 1k naira, which depresses the 10M naira you have now.
I have receipts merely five years ago when I sent money to Nigeria, and comparing the exchange rate then and now just breaks my heart. It's advantageous for us outside, but if you are inside, it's hell.
Ten years ago, folks with less than a million naira can japa to Europe, now, you will be lucky to see flights in that amount.
I will keep to the date. Thanks alot I appreciate.
pansophist: 2.5M is too small. It will not do anything.
Always convert your naira to euros/USD, to have a better perspective of its value. 2.5M is roughly 3.400 USD, its basically nothing, unless he gets a scholarship, that will cover the tuition fee.
If you have plans to leave Nigeria, then you must know one very dark fact. Which is, wasting time is your enemy. For example, ten years ago, the number of countries Nigerians could visit visa-free reduces by 30%, who knows what ten years more hold?
Currently, only Ecowas countries a Nigerian passport can visit mostly, not even our southern and northern neighbors like South Africa and Morocco.
Also, the currency will keep depreciating, and your hard earn naira will keep becoming less valuable. As a consequence, countries will tighten their borders, and only the exceptionally wealthy ones will be able to leave.
It's already happening, but it will get very worse, it's the nature of things. As the earth rotates around the sun, things either get worse or better, there is no stagnancy in reality.
My advice would be to look for scholarships online. And also increase that amount you have, and keep changing them to dollars, to preserve its value. Don't save it in Naira.
So you must understand the game you are playing, which is a race against time. That's how you win. Nobody will tell you the rules, you have to figure it out yourself.
Thanks alot Panso.. I always relish your contribution on this forum.. Can I possibly relocate to Finland with Ten thousand Dollars. I already have my first here in Nigeria.
Wildkat02: U expect me to hug him and sing 🎶 kumbaya after he insulted me? Does being a doctor make me susceptible to swallowing insults? I don’t understand. Even if you’re a patient if u misbehave I will change it for you. Most people see doctors as too cool therefore want to ride on them. Not all of us !
I have one policy... respect is reciprocal. Thanks
Most people who come to hospital are sick . So if they're fine, you wouldn't see them there.. Some of thier attitude are best ignored than being aggressive at it
Wildkat02: 😂 😂 😂 like seriously? Medical practitioners are saints or non humans right? What a stereotypical mindset you have. How old are you pls? Apart from being what you are in your career? Everyone has his or her own attitude. And this is mine.... I don’t tolerate shit from idiots!
But you're a professional.. Sometimes you just don't represent yourself alone by your actions but also your profession.
saasala: If I was Apapa I would do same. Knowing that Obi cannot claim his 'stolen madate', I would gladly accept 500m from Tinubu plus other benefits that will come afterwards. Why should I lose on two ends?
That's exactly why we are where we are.. People without moral standard. People who can do anything as far as money is involved. People who don't care even if they're bringing shame and embarrassment to themselves and their family at large
