You have to be fast bro, competition is fierce these days lol. More sales to us all.
TheSTreetman:

So you're the one that snapped this domain away from my list.. Congrats..

More sales to all of US.

Business / Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by kainos76(m): 7:44pm On Jun 01, 2020
Yes it sold cheap to a startup less than two months old that hasn't been making any profit. I was happy to sell at that price after a lengthy conversation with the founder. Sometimes in this business you need to look at the bigger picture.
nkeona:
A good name sold cheap. Congrats

I'm sorry to ask, please what's the logic behind this statement for competition of a domain? Why lower the better?
Not an expert so I stand to be corrected, I think from an SEO standpoint the lower the competition the easier for the site to be ranked in the search engines. Would be great if the experts can chime in.

Congrats to all the recent sellers, I wish everyone more sales.

CareLily/com sold for $1,699 on Squadhelp. Payments will be made in installments, It was a squadhelp registered domain so I'm getting 25% of the proceeds. The name was listed on the 3rd of October, the first installment has already been paid by the buyer.

To be honest didn't like the name and was going to drop it, the suffix has 3 syllables, not my cup of tea.
DonX001:

Lol, congrats.
Honestly think you could have gotten more for the domain if you were willing to wait sha.
But all money is good money, (as long as its legit)....especially when things are tight, lol.
Congrats.

PayStud/com sold on squadhelp for $5K, I was fascinated by this sale cos I own a couple of pay+keyword domains so I did some digging in, the name was registered May last year by a certain Nigerian that lives in Enugu. Please if you are in here, report the sale and share some of your insights so some newbies can learn.

I always suggest names to SH to register, at the moment I am on selling mode so if I see a good name that I like I suggest it to them. 90% of the names I have on SH are registered by them.

Thanks for your input. But I still don't know which of the options to go with it.

A lot tech startups like the dot io extension. If u can get a solid keyword dot io extension good for you. In my opinion they are not a bad investment.

You might have put your domains in their market place but your domains aren't pointing to their landing pages. You need to change the name servers of your domains to undevelop's name servers.
Cryptolord:
Please can someone interpret this mail tome. I have already listed the domain on undeveloped but does this message imply that it is yet to be displayed for sale by them or people can't see it there when they search?

i have enjoyed the write-ups,can't believe I spent over an hour reading through it all. . . ,  thank you Jarus  wink

he's brilliant ,but not intelligent as succintly analysed by Papabrowne.

has a clear grasp of the issues and certainly outspoken.

He certainly qualifies as a 'Northern Progressive'

however,

he's wrong on the need for Sharia,as clearly identified by him,the Yorubas live very well together, irrespective of religion, becos they tend to identify themselves first as Yoruba people & then as religious people. This is the secret in 'secular' muslim countries like Egypt,Syria,Lebanon.
And until the Muslim northerners take this same approach . .  .there will be problems, becos its difficult to enforce such laws (developed over 1,000 years ago) in the today's world. . . . . . . . . case in point is the recent arrest, prosecution & conviction of a Sudanese woman for putting on trousers  tongue.

Apart from that ,he's cool  cool

I am an ardent follower of this forum, though most of the time i keep my opinions to myself that doesn't mean that i don't have any convictions about certain issues surrounding nigeria as a country. I have read through this thread and all i can point out about Mr. Sanusi is that he is very ignorant, a man who thinks secularism is tantamount to christianity is very uninformed to put it delicately. Having said that, his appointment as CBN governor brings to fore once again the ineptitude of decision makers in the land. I am an optimist in every sense of the word but i don't see Nigeria making any progress as a nation because it is inherently malfunctional, how can a set of religious dogmas take precedence over the constitution. In my opinion Nigeria is a failed state and the earlier steps are taken to reinstate regional autonomy the better. Thats my 2 cents

The topic doesn't sound Nigerian though does it?

Friends I really don't know why we are arguing, there is really no difference between Nigeria and Ghana. As some people rightly pointed if there is instability in Nigeria it would rock Ghana to its core as well as the entire West-African region. I hardly engage in discussions like these but to try to put this matter to rest 2 years ago I was discussing issues relating to the African continent with some American diplomats at a gala in south africa and they both stressed how Nigeria and South Africa are on top of the US foreign policies on Africa. They stressed that the prosperity and stability of Africa was dependent on both countries.

What we should be doing is to find ways on how we can foster African unity, for crying out loud that was the wish of the Late Kwame Nkrumah. Long live Africa!

Hahahaha, so long as you loud-big-mouth Nigerians continue to talk yap or crap about Ghana we'll be here to let you know how loud and noisy you are. I use to like Nigerians but your behaviour here does not endear friends. No wonder any where you go you cut a bad image. You go to South Africa they kick your ass, you go to Malawi they kick your ass. You know why? They can't stand your kind, maybe smart Nigerians don't show up here but only the Patronising ones. shocked

Don't say what you know nothing about, I live in South Africa and for your information Ghanaians are perceived as ogres. So lets not go there, this is not a personality contest its simply a discussion on what is true and what is not. So take your inferiority complex else where Ogre!

RSA:

Goodguy,if you don't mind can you tell your current occupation?Downtown Joburg is dangerous and filthy, even though the goverment is trying to revamp it before the worldcup,I will never stay there atleast for the next ten years.

As Hadexman pointed out, just like in any country if you plan well and you are educated you are likely to live in better and save areas, apply for work while you are still in your native country,it cut all the hussle when you come through.Your company if it does not help you with accomodation they will advise you on the safest place around.South Africa is two worlds in one, there is a first world South Africa and third world,if you have money and education then you will live in the first world, and if you're poor, too bad.So when you come through you must know which South Africa you're visiting.
I couldn't agree with u more. South Africa is just like any other country in terms of social challenges. As RSA stated u need to be well informed before u relocate to SA or any country for that matter. Equip urself with the right skills u wont have any problems I lived in SA for close to 4 yrs and quite frankly I feel its the same with other 3rd world countries faced with challenges like poverty, HIV Aids and Crime. Just get the right education and the right mind set u won't have much problems. I know quite a handful of Americans who relocated to SA and they are not complaining.
Ciao!

I am not surprised at all, Nigeria is not a nation its only a geographic location. Little wonder some pundits address the country as the "Nigerian project". LOL
