oduzbaba89: morning,
I heard that Dubai now process a month and 3 months visa for Nigeria back again without going to abuja, how true is it, need reply asap thanks Yes! The visa procurement company mentioned this development. However, I've only seen FULL visa issued in Abu Dhabi at present. I applied for DUBAI issued FULL visa but it's yet to be out, going to 4 working days now, ideally it should be out in at most 3 working days. I shall post an encrypted sample of the same for confirmation if it later comes out. |

curiobling: who recently provided police clearance for employment during job search as requirements? I heard its not mostly asked for A lady who was working here before, got another job and the company requested for police clearance certificate. She just did one in a police station in Dubai for 270 AED. An e-copy of the same was sent to her by email. |

ogundeletaofeek: Pls anybody with useful information about the urthentic and reliable person that helps exchange aed to naira in fujairah? I need naira in my Nigeria account and have dirham on ground. In Fujairah, I guess individuals do that on personal level. But there is an exchange in Dubai, Noor Alpetra Exchange that gives you option to make atm deposit in their UAE Mushreq Bank account and your Niger account will be credited upon sending deposit receipt to them through whatsapp. They are reliable and also have their office in Deira. As per this forum policy, contacts can't be shared, I doubt there is a way to help in this situation. |

ntutu: Thank you for your explanations... I know of a friend who his work Visa is on going for a teaching position . He has only B.A in Religious Studies and two years of Primary School teacher as well as 2+ years in secondary school teaching. He has submitted his documents and his work visa is already in process. He was told he will be teaching in a primary school and the school will offer him an accommodation. Do you think he is in line to getting the job or he will be rejected when he gets his visa and goes over to UAE? What is his chances of getting the teaching job since he had his undergraduate in Nigeria. Thank you I am no representative of UAE visa procurement authority, I can only give info and advice as per little experience, I am sure there are gurus who got loads of info here to assist as well. As regards your question, if the employer is willing to accept him there is no reason for the visa to be declined. Plus he is gonno be teaching primary school, the chances is quite on average or probably high. Advise him to attest his result. Mostly British and Asian schools take people from anywhere so far you have the basic requirements. |

Oladayo9: kudos to all d distinguished Nigerians in dis platform, d like of kaizenbash, justi4jesu...just to mention a few. Thanks for your vital information being shared. Pls I av a questn to ask. What is d chance for a Bsc holder to get teaching job in Dubai for one who has interest and teaching experience but doesn't certified as a teacher. Pls I want ur responses on d question. Secondly, what do you think is needed for d person to do before coming to Dubai if there is a chance for teaching jobs I can only say a little about teaching jobs, the criteria and other things involved. I know some started as teacher assistant and later upgraded themselves with proper certifications... the blacks I know teaching in colleges, most studied in Malaysia, UK and the likes. But for proper answer to your question I asked from AIUgroup as there are Nigerian teachers to give detailed info there. See below response; The rule for teaching job is strict now. No standard school in UAE will employ any new teacher without teaching qualifications. If you have just Bsc, you should do a PGDE in Nigeria and then attest your documents before coming to search for teaching job. When you get here , you will still have to submit you documents in ministry of education for equivalency which may take months to be put because they have to confirm the genuity of your results from your local schools. Thanks to the soon to start 6months visa, if not it is almost impossible to get a teaching job with 3months visa. NB: I don't know of other schools with no standard sha o. Maybe they may take those with Bsc in specific fields. . Again , exactly what you study is what you are expected to be teaching. Like if you have Bsc in math, you will only get to teach math. Again , schools mostly ask of at least 2years of teaching experience. |

I wise14life: What's the meaning of this guys I JUST SAW THIS POST on a group Yes! as per the memo posted, Abuja Biometrics is on hold until further notice (what an impromptu notice), really a memo should have been cascaded earlier, prior to this time... well, let’s await their final resolution. We hope they stop this stressful process really. There are different UAE laws to be implemented in the 4th quarter of the year.

coldfingerz: bros 150k is not even enough to do 3 months tourist visa.. won ti gba e danu You can’t be so sure he’s been duped, maybe the company just needed some quick general helpers or any menial Job is available and sometimes they don’t require the applicant to pay anything just the agent (his friend) involved might decide to take a token. So maybe he’s not duped and equally he might be duped, either of the two might happen. |

fasholasamson: TIME: 12:00AM REQUIREMENT: 1. ORIGINAL PASSPORT VALID 2. MASTER OR VISA CARD FOR POS PAYMENT 3. MEDICAL REPORT FROM GARKI HOSPITAL OR NIZAMIYE HOSPITAL ABUJA.( FOR WORK VISA ONLY) BANKS CARD WORKING_ UBA, ZENITH, FEDELITY, STERLIN ,ECO FIRSTBANK.
The Above was the response I got after booking my appointment with the Embassy. My Visa is supposed to be a tourist visa. Do I need to do Medicals or is this just the generic response that everyone gets whenever they book appointment? Please educate me. Medical report is not a requirement in UAE embassy when you hold a 30/90 days tourist visa. Proper medical test will done in UAE if you desire to later change to residence visa. Though, it is advised (not mandatory) to do some basic medical test (HIV, TB, Syphilis, HBV &C...) personally just to be sure of your health status if you are going primarily for job search. |

fasholasamson: Please, must it be a return-ticket to Dubai for a 3month Visa, even for people that are not resident in Nigeria but just coming to Abuja for the Visa? The return ticket could as well be back to your country of residence so far you still have a valid visa or entry to the country. |

Obims123: I'm about to make a very important decision. Will it be wise of someone having BP to be seeking for two years working visa. If it is found out at the stage of medicals will the visa be automatically turned down? Pls help a brother with possible advice BP! you mean Blood Pressure? High or Low? whichever case, it will not affect the issuance of your employment visa as it is not part of UAE pre-employment medical test. Blood test and X-ray for HIV/Aids, Hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis (TB), leprosy, syphilis, and pregnancy are done. So decision on whether to go or not lies with you as you only know the state of your health. |

nattybanta: The bolded Part is very very wrong.
The FREEZONE Companies are 100% owned by individuals (either Foreign or Local) Government has no business in FZE unless an extension of a Government Arm/Establishment.
And i can also confirm 100% that not all Employment Visas are to be taken to Abuja for processing. Kindly confirm from your Agent or Public Relations Officer.
In the case of 90 Days VISIT VISA as attached, its still based on SPECULATIONS about the 45 Days validity before Biometrics (Some agents/sponsors tend to cancel ones visa depending on the agreement or any dispute but i personally have seen someone done biometrics on the 50th day, PS: not all fingers are equal.). but it's better to go for it once you get your Visa Approval Page no need to wait.
Then u have 60 days (as shown in the attached) from the date of biometric to enter UAE don't wait for the 60th day to travel cos u might end up getting to UAE on the 61st day. and be turned back even if they had allowed u board the flight from Nigeria. Yes! thanks for correcting that. You are right, free zone companies are private companies without government share or sponsor by any local/UAE national. Government companies are separate entity entirely. We aint actually here to negate anyone, here is an information and discussion platform, so getting the right info is key so as not to mislead others. The main point is that employment visas holders should seek proper guidance from their agencies or company who issued the employment visa for further actions as not all employment go through Abuja processing. |

Let me say this to clarify some issues regarding employment visa applicants on going to Abuja for biometrics and medicals.
The standard procedure for employment visa holders now is to go to UAE embassy in Abuja for Biometrics and medicals. However, UAE laws and procedures is not just static they are different according to the various sectors the company issuing the employment visa belongs.
Employment visas can be issued by individuals (for maids, helpers etc who must have fulfilled some eligibility criteria with the govt.), Private companies 'LLC', some Establishment 'Est' (majorly FMCG, groceries et al), Free zone companies ( government being part of shareholders, or wholly owned by govt.)
All these above mentioned entities belong to different sectors and have different quotas and procedures of operation outlined by UAE government. Hence I cannot talk explicitly or say a standard straightforward procedure about their employment visas issued.
Apt! it is advised one should take proper guidance from his/her agents or companies who issued any employment visa prior to coming to UAE. |

newbie2018: so guys be careful and warn your friends and family not to relax with this biometric stuff.
I gave up almost 400k to this visa ish...turned out my name was not on the appointment list of the day even though I was given appointment for June 20something, Polly my slot was sold (typical once Nigerians are involved in anything).
my advice is once your visa is issued, book an appointment immediately and ensure you calculate the date given doesn't exceed or go close to the so-called 45days period even though it says 58 on my visa temporary copy.
a lot of bribery going on around the embassy I advice you follow suit to save yourselves stress and unnecessary spendings.
I have settled for a residence visa and thank God once it's out I have no business with Abuja. am told it will take a month or almost to process which I have started already.
Good luck to everyone and stay guided. here helps too. No proof to show you were booked on that day? Payment and other stuffs ! |
