Get your certificates attested while coming you could be lucky to find a professional job that will require your certs, and be prepared to start small as well it's not always easy securing professional jobs without UAE experience, menials wouldn't be a bad idea to secure your stay in the country. oluwarphemmy: Good morning fellow... really admire this trend on it's achievement and help. Have always been told that been in the UAE gives more advantage than securing from outside...cos it makes the work of the organisation more easier. Am on my processing to leave SOON by September. Am an holder of M.sc in Applied geophysics...and B.sc in Geology and Mineral Sciences... With some professional courses... NEBOSH Intl technical certificate in Oil and Gas Operational safety(IOGC) and NEBOSH IGC... Have been told told bout the importance of some ISO courses like ISO 18001., which gives better edge over there. Do have eye for the oil and gas sector, if it comes when I arrive, good but am ready to start from somewhere in other to get other certifications done. Please gurus in the house... hope this my little education and experience would grant me a start over there...to push my career. God bless.

Tigernew: I have completed the test. it is about 12 questions (about shapes and figures) for 12 mins. if the time run out, you still can continue to answer the questions and the final time will be recorded. After that you will have 99 personality questions, they are very easy to answer
Don't worry, go for the test
Good luck all All the best bro, I will be writing my own test soon as well, let's all keep updating on here as we progress with the scholarship process. If anyone has sample questions, it would be of good help if they can share it with us. |

Thank you, I appreciate your advice. I sure understand the bolded words. Osemigho: Welcome to the Canadian journey. A race that requires diligence, patience, and endurance.
1- Your best shot is a master admission in your previous field.
2- easy admission is usually indirectly related to scholarship or funding. I.e. schools or program that offer easy admission hardly give funding or scholarship. You can use your option to target schools in your province of interest.
3- Google is your best friend for all questions from meaning of a document, it samples, etc. This thread is there to support you through the journey. Kindly note the word "support" and not "direct".
My parting advise: be patient and consistent in your search and attempt for result. All the best bro.
It will end with praises. |

When you check through google, you can compare different schools tuition fees and choose the one that agree with your pocket.1. I have actually done that but i just need some schools that give admission easily for international students, a friend mentioned schools are cheap and offer admission easily in Newfoundland and Labrador, i just need to get it right from the start. Google will definitely not give you all that you wanted. Please assist with some names anyone has got success stories with. 2. No i work as a Document controller. I will take to the advice of doing a course in line with my first degree. Hello house,
I am rookie in this thread and I humbly seek your selfless assistance regarding my BSC pursuit to Canada.
I have a degree in Agric. Economics graduated 2012, I presently work in the UAE for 2years now. I will like the gurus to assist with below questions.
1. [b]Lists of cheap schools that offer admissions for international students presently? 2. I intend to do software programming for the MSC, do I stand a good chance for admission since my first degree is totally different or I should just go for a course related to my first degree to avoid any reason for rejection? 3. Can tuition fee be deferred till one get to Canada, how feasible is the TRV if one did not pay from Nigeria. 4. Is it advisable to submit visa application from UAE, online or rather go to Nigeria for best result.
Please 'ogas' here should kindly assist with the above questions. |

justi4jesu: They have to start somewhere,Not all Filipinos and other nationals do good jobs, you can never see a Nigerian working as a Maid but all maids if not 95% in the UAE are Filipinos. The so called security jobs Nigerians are doing and you are talking about, that gives them up to #200,000 as monthly salary and most of them with Transportation and Accommodation inclusive.
Who pays that much in Nigeria for someone without even Waec certificate.
Here you can see a guy/lady working as sales, security, waitress without O level certificate and the salary can never be compared to Nigeria.
That security you see there, next time you come on holiday in maybe months or 1 year, you can go find out about him and you will be told he has resigned for a better job.
Rome wasn't built in a day. They pay securities in Nigeria #15,000(from this same money he will pay transport to work and feeding) tell me how much he gets at the end of the day.
Any job here is better than in Nigeria. The most important thing 'Don't be illegal. Whatever your hand find, do it well and with all your heart and keep pushing for better tomorrow.
Ask those Filipinos when they moved to Dubai, some were here even before they built Burj Khalifa and the likes, so tell me why they won't be working with Emirates Airline(Hello Tomorrow)
Dubai is all about Gulf Experience, once you have started from somewhere and you are focused and also work towards it without relenting then the sky will be your stepping stone.
On a lighter note, allow them to enjoy their various jobs if need be. am so impressed with that response. u sure said it all. |
