What is your full name? As per the Entry Permit No. seen in your e-visa below is the information displayed. So confirm if that's your name and it is showing the visa has been used. undecided

If the name and other info in your e-visa at hand is not same as the below, then your visa is no doubt fake.

does this mean that all visa that all visit visa expires after 45 days of issuance even though it has been issued at the embassy.
90 days visa expires in 45 days.
14 days service visa expires in 14days
I’m not certain of 30 days and 2years expiry period.

Sorry about the previous info, since they started this Biometric ‘wahala’ in Abuja they’ve also implemented that 2 years employment visa applicants should go for medicals in designated hospitals prior to coming. They will still do another one here in Uae like the old process.

Pls read all necessary requirements and medical tests centers in below link.

I Think your agent already cancelled it.

Sorry Bro cos there is nothing you can do about it.

Contact your agent.
Like I said earlier agents hardly cancel visas, this visa looks like it got expired after 45days of issue and canceled automatically by Dubai immigration itself that’s why you see it as cancelled in the verification site.

To confirm this check the issue date of the visa and compare it with the date of cancellation you will find out the difference is like 45 days.

I checked another visa which got expired from my side, it showed cancelled also and the difference in issuing and cancellation date is exactly 45 days

So when visa gets expired it shows canceled on the mo-site.
Agents initiate cancellation themselves on rare situations. You still have to contact your agent for assistance, though nothing can be done to the expired visa.

Yea. sometimes as a result of conflict between Client , agent 1 , agent 2 , agent 3 and sponsor.

Cos some people would receive the visa from the Agent or the Sponsor and refuse to complete payment.
Yes this is possible if there is conflict between the parties as rightly said. But agents rarely cancel issued visa as they still have to pay cancellation fee to government (around 350-/+ AED 35K-/+) because the visa is issued already. So agents rarely cancel visas.

Please forgive me guys, I know I should read the whole thread but I just need a quick answer. If I was to go to Dubai on a visit visa, how !much in cash should I have for all my needs including Visa, and money to live on for a month and everything in between, and if I find a job do I have to leave the country again to change my visa type?
30 days Visa Procurement - From 120k-150k and above depending on agent
90 days - From 190k above depending on agent
Flight ticket - 200 above depending on season of the year and airline
Hotel accommodation - 180AED (18k Naira) per night and above depending on location, hotel standard and season (Booking prior to arrival is cheaper)
A month shared accommodation - Starting from 600AED (60k Naira) and above depending on location and room.
Feeding - You know what you eat

Above estimation is just to give you little clue of the finances involved. Travelers are advised to hold nothing less than a 1,000 dollar Basic Travelling allowance to prevent being stranded in anyway here.

Pple of dis forum all I can say is thanks u soo much....I tried my luck and it work out for me because if I stay home til today dey will cancelled my visa... Thanks God I am able to do my biometric and interview yesterday am now waiting for my visa on Friday.......like seriously pple are cry in here because over 100 applicants visa was cancelled yesterday
Thank God for succeeding with that. We advise e-visa holders to take urgent action with their Biometrics in Abuja embassy before it gets expired/cancelled. Tell them that your visa will expire in the next 45 days if you r given far appointment day.

The earlier you get it done the better. A stitch in time saves nine.

visit and tourist visa are they the same...
Visit and tourist visa are most times regarded as same, they are both entry permits for visitors to the UAE for 30/90 days. 14 days visa is mainly regarded as 'Service visa'. @justi4jesu or other gurus could shed more lights if anything is contrary.

The visa they are cancelling is it 3months or 2years, anyone that have the idea should let us know
Any visa could get expired, be it 1 month, 3 months or 2 years employment visa. However, the validity period of 3 months is what I'm sure of which is 45days now, 2 years employment visa can't exceed 60days (I'm not sure) and definitely 1 month visa will be less than or exactly 30days validity.
14days visa is not required for any Biometrics in Abuja, the e-visa and air ticket alone will suffice to travel.

You met agents in Nigeria, definitely they've also got agent in UAE, the agent must also have agent he/she gives visas for in uae, that one alos gives to a visa company here... imagine that chain!

That's agent-to-agent charges inclusive. 3 months visa does not exceed 200k, its between the range I mentioned earlier. Information is gold though, things come easy when you have the necessary info.

2 weeks visa can be done by an hotel or airline wen u lodge or fly with dem, can also be done independently for about 50k

3 months visa u have to get in touch with a reputable travel agency it is 300k or more

U don't need a transit visa so forget about that
3 months visa is just around 180-190k (it could even go lower) now from a reputable agent without any agent-to-agent charges. Visa holders will still need to pay 30k for Biometrics in Abuja, hence reason for the low amount.

Yeah this is good news for those who had overstayed as they can leave the country without a "no entry" passport stamp and no payment of overstay fee.

Also, a new 6-month visa will be introduced for job seekers and tourists starting from the 4th quarter of 2018.

There are quite a number of new laws that will be implemented at the 4th quarter of this year by UAE govt. to ease foreigners' stay in the country.

I heard that one must leave Nigeria within 60day of issuance the e-visa(the printed out visa),the day of stay start counting from the day u step into Dubai...that is what I heard, any information different from this?
The procedure has changed, one must leave Nigeria within 45days of the e-visa issuance. I did 3 months visa for someone and he proceeded to Abuja for Biometrics without any delay, paid the 30k and he was booked for 60days ahead, on getting back to Abuja on the given date, he was told the visa has expired and there is nothing they can do about it and there are many ppl in such situation.

Look at the money, risk and time invested in the e-visa now they were told it has expired. Great grief they are the one suffering for UAE embassy's improper planning for not meeting up to the visas workload.

Sorry, but I believe the bone of contention here is if it's possible to apply for a study permit 'WITHIN' Canada. Someone here said it was impossible, and you'll have to go back to ur country to do that,

I really appreciate your swift response, please can it be converted to a work visa also, as per my question 1? You only answered the third question.
Markab:
3. You can't convert visit visa to student visa from inside Canada. You need to leave Canada to apply for study permit
kaizenBash post: 1. Is it possible to convert 2 or 5 years Canada visit/business visa to work visa on getting to Canada without being an illegal immigrant?

2. How long can one stay with 2/5 years visit/biz Canada visa? is it for the whole visa period or you have to leave after 3 months like the way they operate in the US if you don't want to end up being an illegal immigrant.

3. If one has an admission offer and later got a visit visa to Canada can he/she just walk in to the institution and request the visit visa to be converted to a student visa on getting to Canada?

likeababygirl:
You cannot convert a visit or business visa to a study visa, you have to apply fresh for a study visa.
You also have to come back home to apply for the study visa.
So best thing for you is to leave getting the visit visa idea (cos you don't have it yet) and focus on getting an admission and applying for your study permit from Nigeria.

Hello esteemed members!

Please I need your prompt assistance on below questions.

I would really appreciate genuine information from members on this regard, as I'm trying to weigh my possible options before making final decision whether to go on visit visa (I have a potential good link to procure the visit visa) or with study visa and convert to work/study visa on getting to Canada.
