Benin is a whole different country from Nigeria. I've never seen such a backward city in my life. They have legitimate reasons for not tarring roads. I used to believe the state of Edo was cursed with bad leaders from the get-go. I later realized past rulers were a reflection of the average resident.

It pains me when I see pictures of the my state (Edo State) like this. I last stepped into Benin City in 2004 during my Uniben convocation. From what I am seeing now not much has changed since then. Sometimes I am forced to believe the city is cursed with the evil atrocities like cultism, killings everyday, robbery etc going on in that city. I also hear the youth below the age of 30 are all into yahoo plus rituals. Sad

My s10+ is currently like this, same as my s20+5g. I have decided to keep using them like that till it goes blind completely. Screen replacement cost, it is around 80% price of a new one phone.

Seriously it's so annoying. My little nephew's A16 5G screen got cracked. They are charging 175k for a new screen plus labour when the brand new phone is about 260k
