France (Paris) Paris has ranked top student city several times in the past. Low tuition fees, history and culture, fun student life and excellent placements and internships make it very popular with students. If you have a residency card and are studying in an institution that has access to Social Security, you can work up to 20 hours a week. However, you must pay 20 per cent in taxes. Check out job boards or ask around for babysitting jobs and tutoring jobs, some of the most popular, and you can easily make between 5 to 6 euros an hour. Jobs in translation, telemarketing, language teaching, video game testing, software testing etc. will pay at various rates depending on the job. |
United Kingdom (London) London is a popular destination for students to study abroad, if expensive. But if you look in the right places, you can find a job that will make your money last longer in a city full of attractions, good food and culture. The UK allows you to work while you’re studying as long as you’re studying longer than 6 months and have a Tier 4 student visa. You can work between 10 to 20 hours a week when classes are in session. During vacation, you can work up to 40 hours. How many hours you can work will be printed on your BRP or visa sticker. As far as part-time earnings go on an hourly basis, it depends on the job. In tutoring, sales advisory jobs, or working at Amazon, McDonald’s’ or other cafes and shop floors, you’ll probably make between 7 to 13 GBP an hour. A job as a delivery rider for companies like Deliveroo can make you up to 16 GBP an hour if you’ve got a vehicle and a smartphone. Babysitting and dog-walking could make you about 8 GBP an hour. Paid internships on an average are about 22,000 GBP a year. London is not going to be the most lucrative city for a student, but if you can bag one of the top-paying internships, you can earn more than the typical American makes in a month. |
United States In the US, campus jobs typically pay minimum wages ranging from $7.25 to $13.25 an hour, depending on which city you’re in. The District of Columbia, for instance, has the highest minimum wage at the moment. Cheney in Washington may be the best city to work your way through college. Statistics show students can make nearly $9000 a year working just 15 hours a week. It also helps that the tuition at Eastern Washington University is lower than many others. |
When you’re studying abroad, a part-time job can make it easier to pay your bills, fund your travel or just make it easier to have fun on weekends without worrying about your student loans. It’s also a fantastic way of digging into the local culture, making new friends, and generally broadening your horizons. You may even pick up a new language or two. Some countries are not so easy to work in while you study abroad. Italy, for instance, makes it very difficult in this respect. In China, you have to run through hoops and obtain permission from several sources before you can work. And we don’t advise working unofficially, because the repercussions are often serious if you’re caught doing so. Review Countries like the United States will only allow you to work on-campus while you’re on your F-1 student visa. As long as you are happy working as a teaching assistant or research assistant at college, a part-time fitness instructor at the university’s fitness centre, a library assistant, a daycare assistant, etc., you could consider the US. Some other countries have more relaxed rules for students. Here is a look at the top cities around the world to earn while you study abroad. There is a world of opportunities out there if you look. Moreover, these views are somewhat subjective and based on the writers opinions |

“We have absolutely no idea how those vehicles were delivered to North Korea,” Daimler spokeswoman Silke Mockert said in a written response to an Associated Press report Wednesday on the limousines . “For Daimler, the correct export of products in conformance with the law is a fundamental principle of responsible entrepreneurial activity.” Daimler, based in Stuttgart, Germany, is one of the world’s biggest and more prestigious automobile companies. It is one of the biggest providers of high-end passenger cars and the world’s largest producer of trucks above 6 tons. On its home page, the multinational giant boasts of selling vehicles and services in nearly all the countries of the world and of having production facilities in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. North Korea, however, isn’t one of its official customers. “Our company has had no business connections with North Korea for far more than 15 years now and strictly complies with E.U. and U.S. embargoes,” she said. “To prevent deliveries to North Korea and to any of its embassies worldwide, Daimler has implemented a comprehensive export control process. Sales of vehicles by third parties, especially of used vehicles, are beyond our control and responsibility.” Kim’s ability to procure the limousines anyway is a good example of how porous the international sanctions tend to be. According to Daimler, the Mercedes-Benz Pullman limousines offer their passengers “a superbly appointed setting for discreet meetings.” The version used by Kim is believed to be equipped with all the key communications and entertainment systems so that, according to a company description of the car, its occupants can remain “fully in touch with the rest of the world while enjoying the luxury and comfort of their own very special place in it.” https://www.cnbc.com/2019/04/26/daimler-says-it-has-no-idea-how-kim-jong-un-got-his-limos.html

German automaker Daimler, which makes armored limousines used by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, says it has no idea where he got them and has no business dealings with the North. Kim has raised eyebrows by using Daimler-branded stretch limousines at several very high-profile summits, including his meeting this week with Russian President Vladimir Putin and both of his earlier summits with President Donald Trump. The sale of luxury goods, including limousines, is banned under U. N. sanctions intended to put pressure on North Korea to abandon its nuclear weapons. Kim nevertheless had two limos waiting for him at Vladivostok station — a Mercedes Maybach S600 Pullman Guard and a Mercedes Maybach S62. He is believed to have also used the S600 Pullman Guard for his summits with Trump in Singapore in June last year and in Hanoi in February.

Hi guys, so yesterday I posted my car for sale on an online market (I’m in the diaspora want to relocate to another city).. I got an almost immediate response on my WhatsApp… The profile picture was that of someone that looked like Chinese origin (Picture attached). I followed the conversation until I detected something suspicious as our conversation progressed. It was later I even noticed it was a Nigerian WhatsApp number. Even when he asked for my home address, I gave him the address of a police station which was very clear, but his greed and hunger made him not notice, hence I decided to play him for a fool. Let our conversation pictures tell the story

Alphaman007:Its nothing to be worried as the combination or the dose is not harmful. However, try to not repeat |
TheCongo2:Because it was 'ball to hand' as against 'hand to ball'.. If you look closely, the ball first hit his head before going to his hand |
Our guys tried. They were determined and played with their hearts. You could see it in their eyes. |
uloewa:I find it quite embarrassing and distasteful reading this from you... You started well by trying to educate the person you quoted on the obvious misinformation he has, only for you to do worse... @ the bolded Very embarrassing |
Just lending my soft views/opinions to the Malaysia-Australia arguments.. (Note: I've had a taste of both worlds) Regarding quality of Infrastructure; Malaysia supersedes Australia Infrastructure is looked at for example in terms of Quality of Transport (roads, rail, waterways etc), energy, communications, water, waste, etc Here are the latest statistics (2017) of selected countries; Switzerland is ranked at no 1 (with an index of 6.6) Singapore is ranked at no 3 (with an index of 6.4) The United states is ranked at no 10 (with an index of 5.9) Malaysia is ranked at no 21 (with an index of 5.3) Canada is ranked at no 23 (with an index of 5.2) UK is ranked at no 28 (with an index of 5.0) New Zealand is ranked at no 34 (with an index of 5.0) Australia is ranked at no 35(with an index of 4.7) Source: https://www.statista.com/statistics/264753/ranking-of-countries-according-to-the-general-quality-of-infrastructure/ In terms of entertainment and holiday destination; from my experience, its a no contest. Malaysia supersedes Australia However, when you look at it from the quality of life angle, wages, GDP and all other economic indices, Australia supersedes Malaysia.. Overall and comparatively, Australia is a 'take home' and wouldn't be fair to compare with Malaysia as an immigrant because Australia is higher up in most of the indices.. Albeit, do not take anything away from Malaysia who are doing fantastically well, and at a faster pace too. Its a far cheaper and livelier destination. The reason Malaysia has had a hard knock reputation in Nigeria is because the Malaysian Government hasn't put efforts in managing their bad/sometimes misinformation that comes out in the media, like some other advanced countries do |
Gabby91:Do not let folks discourage you. The negative report you hear about Nigerians in Malaysia is due to the fact that bad news travels much more faster than good news. There are very many well respected Nigerians there working legally and doing very very well. In fact while there at a certain time, the least qualified Nigerian in the community I stayed was doing a PhD (And there were lots of Nigerians there).. Just be sure what you want and go for it. Be strong, and determined. By the way as for online studies, I know of Al Maddinah university. You can check them out. There should be others too... |
Nice move. I'm also of the opinion that the person who recorded the video must be appreciated, or at least recognised. If not for him/her, we wouldn't have known, and the man would have been wallowing in self pity, while the soldiers will be masturbating in self aggrandizement |
Freedom fighters never go back on what they believe in.. . They follow their course through. I never liked Nnamdi Kanu, but I must confess now that he is indeed a dogged fighter. Now I see why some of Tufaces' colleagues never supported this in the first place (They know him better than some of us do) .... I am highly disappointed. The forces of retrogression seem to be winning. But they would never succeed in the Nigerian project. I call on well meaning, and sincere comrades to take up from here and follow this through.... The protest should go on.. |
