Hello all, Recently jumped on the alternative power bandwagon after nearly 2 years of no supply from the public grid. I installed a 3.5kva Luminous inverter with plans to go fully solar as my finances permit. However, I observed that when I turn on the generator the Inverter doesn't allow power through uninterrupted unless I switch it on. When the inverter is switched off, the lights just blink on and off. Is this normal or is it a problem with the inverter or the installation? I paid an installer for the installation and my generator is a 7.5kva unit. Please I need informed opinions so that I can better understand what is going on. If I had been aware of the wealth of information available here,I most probably would have done the installation myself. Thanks in advance. |
Nigerians have largely been blinded and deceived by religion and methinks that is one of the ill that plague our nation. If the born again Xtian can't sin cos he/she has received Christ, how come we have such massive corruption in government. Does being a self-professed born-again Christian sanctify the looting of the public coffer and the betrayals of public trust? No wonder these acts are perpetrated with impunity. The pastors are certainly leading their flocks off the cliffs. A sinner is a sinner regardless of religious affiliations. Dear "Christians" stop following blindly the teachings of these misguided "pastors"! Stop reading those verses in isolation. Always endeavour to read the entire passage or chapter or book (as the case may be) so that the context in which those often quoted words were written can become manifest. SHINE YOUR EYES!!! |
![]() It is quite sad, as it is revealing, that we ascribe the problems of this country to others and never see how we nurture the same problems by our sidon-look mentality (either that or it's "e go better" . Our problems will not go away, or get any better, until we begin to see ourselves as stake holders in the destiny of this country and so stand to lose am lot if Nigeria fails, we'll simply be marking time. So what if Umaru is dead (I believe the bugger's been pushing up daisies since before they snuck him back into the country)? He did not create Nigeria's problem and his passing means nothing to me. What would matter to me is that this event serve as a reminder to us all about the transience of life and the need for us to do the best we can with the little time we have to spend here on earth to make the country of our birth a better place for all. |
Where are you located? I'd like to come for an inspection and what's the least you're willing to accept. |
Hello George, not sure ovi maps will work. It's only for GPS enabled nokia cell phones. Sorry I couldn't be of much help. Good luck on your quest. |
@Mossman Thanks for your post. I'm sure a lot of blood pressures would have dropped a couple of notches. However, it makes sense to take precautions and put the windows down for a minute or 2 upon entering a car on a hot day to let the sizzling air trap inside out. Aside from cooling the interior faster, I'm sure it will also help reduce the benzene level. |

Guys, Guys, cool temper!! Any interested party can log onto Nokia's ovi.com and download Nigeria Map onto any GPS enabled handset. The download includes maps for almost all African countries. Just be sure to download the latest map version too. I have been using this on my Nokia 5800 and has found it very useful. I do a lot of traveling. Almost forgot: Nokia navigation service supports voice guided (with street names) walk and drive navigation and, according to Nokia, is FREE FOR LIFE! |
I need a very clean 9ja used car in very good condition. Any brand that can be maintained locally. Do you have one to sell or maybe know someone who does? Please contact me with pix through this email add: iwanbaimoto@ovi.com. Cash is ready! |
