As you launch your 2018/2019 dry season farming please remember you can only be successful with effective irrigation system design, layout and setup! Be careful of reading up unrealistic irrigation system cost online, every farm is different and unique. For example 1 acre of watermelon may need 2000-3000m of irrigation kits and 1 acre of tomatoes may need 6,000-8,000m(depending on plant population, furrow spacing, land orientation, topography, e.t.c).
