"Irrigation is expensive!!!" - I hear this all the time from practicing and intending farmers. How can you conclude a product is expensive by just considering the price rather than its function? A good macbook or iPhone may seem expensive(if all you look at is the cost), but when you compare functionalities to the other less expensive brands then you will understand how cheap a Mac and/or an iPhone is!

A good effective irrigation is never expensive, it can last for several years and you can recover the cost of your investment within the first year or two of use! So you can only enjoy the benefits of irrigation technology when you think of its long term benefits rather than short term. The number of validity doesn't really matter, what the immigration should improve on is the retaining of passport number, it is only Nigerian I have seen having and carrying 5passport due to variations in passport number. An individual should have a unique passport number throughout, just like I.D number, it will also provide security to the passport. Though I told my uncle who is a compt. of NIS , his reply was we have not reach there yet.... Then when are we going to reach? My second question.

Growing up in Lagos, we rarely bought bitter leaf, uha, ugu, scent leaf and Plantain as we had them on our property. Plantain, palm oil and ukwa (breadfruit) were also regularly sent to us from our farms in the village as it was loaded in trucks that used to transport drums of palm oil to Lagos for sale.

That is why till this day, I feel "somehow" buying plantain as my mind is kind of stuck to my childhood experience of harvesting plantain in our compound!
