it is not about been deviant though, some persons who are deviant may not be carriers or spreaders of the Covid19 pandemic. The main issue is tests results don't come out on time and the number of tests are very low due to limited test kits.

it is normal, the lock down is to curtail the spread. The number of cases is the number of people who were confirmed after the tests. If tests results are gotten faster and tests are massively done then the results will increase!

I have never stated masks prevent infection, I said it prevents the spread of the virus.

If you have time, you can watch the full documentary and, these information I am sharing is to educate people.
It is only sensible for people cover their mouth and nose to avoid the spread. Especially places like Nigeria where people live closely together in face me i face you and have large families.

My point is, if some countries have seen success with enforcing nose masks and there are research works supporting this, why wait for WHO to tell you to cover your mouth and nose especially when the same organisation told the world earlier that Covid-19 does not transmit from person to person.

However, the video is still consistent with masks preventing transmission rather than infection.

As I previously noted, Covid-19 is new and EVERYONE is scrambling and learning new things everyday...
Nonetheless, EVERYONE (including the CDC and WHO) acts on the ‘best’ evidence available at any point in time.

Saying healthy don't need to wear the mask is not in order. How will one know he doesn't have the virus without testing? Even if one tests negative, what if the person contracts it after the test?. Everyone should wear, healthy or not..

The issue is that the front line enforcers are busy harassing and even arresting anyone(including farmers and input suppliers) who they see, asking for their ID(which is fine). But, how many farmers has an ID ?, how many farmers will risk themselves to want to go out in this scenario? That was my point.

Here in Nigeria, Cross River and Abia states have decided to allow people to come out of their homes if they have face-masks on. The Government of Abia State even charged tailors to sew 3 million face-masks because imported face-masks are scarce right now.
