Hello Kalusam. I'd like to know if ugu has a lifetime.I had a beautiful experience with the broad leaf variety I planted in 2016. I got big pods too. I was shocked when it died. And the rains had not ceased. Does one replant each year? I've done that but I want to know if that is the way of ugu. Or I shouldn't have depended on rain alone? Thank you.

Ugu can last for more than a year if it is watered, however commercial production... It has a life cycle of 7-9months afterwhich the pods are harvested, then replanted!
