Embassy can only confirm if the account number is exist that is all No time
That's not entirely true, I know of a fellow that used a doctored First Bank for Australian study permit, the Australian embassy in SA wrote back, that checks showed the account name and number existed but transactions had been altered.
So embassy can request more than just name and number. I wil upload the letter from SA soon

OGIYEN:
You said each of the school separately,so both will carry one address, as school will not issue multiple transcript
I'm sure you were given a form to fill when you requested for your academic transcript, on the form there are spaces for addresses to fill up, kindly check the form and see the spaces.

Dear VO,
good day....nice job you are doing enlightening people on DV related issues. I have some questions i would like you to give answers to:
1. When a case of siblings filing enters the 12th year and its already approaching September (we are in June) and the brother in Nigeria is yet to hear from Kentucky, what will happen if he didn't hear anything regarding being scheduled for interview by September (his case number now reads LSG)?
2. Is it mandatory for siblings involved in filing to undergo DNA testing?
3. Is it true that filings done in certain states get treated faster than filing done in other states?

Thank you for your time..

earthgreeners: Bros you are confused, to understand what u want... kindly read from Part 1 - Part 3 of this thread ...It would take approximately 4days at the rate of 5hours/day....

In summary, you need to first gain admission into a University or College in Canada....use google to search for the list of Universities and colleges...
Some of these universities are;
University of Regina
University of Saskatchewan
University of Manitoba
University of Alberta
University of Waterloo
University of Toronto
University of Newbrunswick
Memorial University
University of Prince Edward Island
University of British Columbia
University of Western Ontario
Dalhousie University
Humber College
Lambton College
Seneca College
Newbrunswick Community college
Niagara College
etc......

After you gain admission into any of these universities / colleges, you then apply for a study permit (i.e Student Visa) at the Canadian Deputy High Commision (CDHC) in Lagos either through their Visa application centre (VAC) located in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos...

You would submit some documents together with your admission letter, these document includes but not limited to;
Admission letter
Bank Statement (6months)
Academic documents (certificates and transcript)
Passport
Birth certificate
etc
You have done the job for him!

earthgreeners: Madam dey can't be that crazy, what they need to do is to stamp and sign a copy of your certificate......My school does that without charges or protocols..they just confirm then seal a copy for u
Some schls charge for that service, like in UI, you pay #1k for confirmation of result which could either be a certificate or statement of result. But to tie it to alumni due, its a rip-off!
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by kanayogod(m): 11:21am On Jan 03, 2013
mercylicious: I sent them official transcript but wen the offer came, they said condition is degree certificate.
They did nt specify it is official copy.
All you need to do is go to your school's Examinations Officer's office, go with a copy of your degree certificate, it wil be endorsed by the EO, and you are good to go.

lucky Don: So kanayo,u have not yet applied at the embassy?
admission and application for trv for Fall 2013 is still way ahead. I'm sure you want answers to certain questions, the truth be told, you need to do most of the work yourself and comeback later for advice. In the interim, read part 1-2 like someone rightly counselled.

Abeg go to you Secondary School and tell them you need your academic records (Transcript) explain to them what u wanna use it for. They wld compile your result from their master sheet...
Mehn, my VO dey vex gan ooo! Guess my VO applied the yoruba adage that says whn you reprimand a child with the right hand, you use the left to cuddle same child. Some questions baffles me sef, new members shd endeavour to read part1-2 of the Canada thread, that wil give them more insight into the 'trv' quest, na quest oo and e pass gulder own !
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by kanayogod(m): 7:05am On Dec 18, 2012
Good day alll, something has been bothering me abt cdhc's tagging of some sponsors financial clout as insufficient, i believe the minimum they expect to see in a sponsor's acct is one year's tuition + money for accomodation plus money for upkeep. Some have been denied despite showing accts with 4M, now, my question is this: is there another minimum other than the one i stated above that cdhc expect the sponsor/s to show? And to those denied, please what was the balance of your sponsors?
One love

whats with the latest drama? There's a saying, if you fool me, at least you can't fool yourself! If pple come and lie abt having trv, their cup of tea! Spencer has a right to voice his opinion, its up to us to be either in support or otherwise, but not attack his personality.
Life is not a way one traffic, the fact that he wasnt in tandem with Siga's view, doesnt mean his contributions should be discarded without looking at the merits or demerits of such comments, we are here to learn, not shoot ourselves down!
Best wishes to medical awaitees, good luck to trv hopefuls, and those with trv's safe journey!
