many thanks for the response, yes, i work at the moment, i finished 2008, computer science, my friend at Uleth is the one handlin it, he says he believe i stand a better chance of admission for bsc than msc, also, i have tried without success to get Msc, my grade is 2.7/7.0, UI scale. One sponsor is based at alberta, my brother and dad

I'm in the process of gettin admission letters frm either Uleth or Mount Royal for a bsc in comp sci, my questions are: at 36, going for another bsc, what are my chances? Can my brother be a sponsor? Wont CDHC querry my resolve to schl in canada rather than US where he is? Can i have more than 2 sponsors?

I havent given it a thought, he suggested that I go for the BSc again, that wil my grades i might be given some course waivers.

I had a 2:2 but having challenges getin admisssion for msc due largely to the low grades. My friendat Uleth has began admission process for BSC into eother Uleth or Mount Royal, my main concern is at 35, single and going back for another Bsc, what are my chances? I have 3 proposed sponsors: my dad, my brother who is an american citizen, and my friend's brother with a canadian PR, what are my chances?

@Swagger, thats the process, you cant send scanned copies to the schools, the only time a scanned copy wil be accepted is if you have sent it before, and the admission was delayed, a scanned copy can then be used to make the admission decision.
Since you are applying to 5 different schools, just like Imperioux have told you earlier, you need 5 freshly produced statements and letters of reference from the bank clearly addressed to the schools

franklynx: pls,housemates.. i just received my I-20 for Spring 2013 for MSc.in Pet.Eng.. I have since paid and got my TOEFL Confirmation ticket but cud not write it on Oct.6,2012 in a P/H centre because of I.D problem( i.e i did not present my international passport as a means of I.D hence i was not allowed 2 take d TOEFL..) Can i present my TOEFL Ticket confirmation on the visa interview as a proof dt i registered/took the TOEFL and just tell dem that i have not received my official scores(hard copy) by postal mail..?? l.

Most times, i believe the CO/VO wants to see the score not evidence of registration, i think getting your school to write a TOEFL waiver and evidence of registration should take you out of that situation.

rar files are not passworded.
The issue is make sure you download all the files imperiouxx or bigfrancis sent, then use either the ISO or rar to extract the files, shikena. Without all the rar files or iso files, you will stil have issues with it.

@Imperiouxx, my schl's scale is 7.0. Some schls use that scale, UI for example.

Hello House, good day to you all.
I have a naggin problem and i need your candid view on it. I graduated with a 2.7 on the 7.0 scale., most schls requires a 3.0 on the 4.0 scale for the last 60 hours of undergraduate work, please does this imply the last 2semesters or last 2 years of the academic program?
Please kindly explain.

I'm a computer science spring hopeful, i got some schls that do not require GRE, like imperiouxx and others have advised, you should take the test for VO's, TA's and GA's sake!

@Imperiouxx, and all, i have a dilemma, my brother who is a US Citizen just filed for me on july 10, 2012, i wish to study for msc in spring, pls, kindly assess my situation, do i wait for the filing to sail thru considering the lenghty years i have to wait, though he filed from Hawaii, he's with the US army, some said due to the very low black population, the filing might be processed earlier, or i should go ahead and apply for spring 2013.

@newacca, its well, the Almighty knows better. @those with their TRVs, congrats! I'm still at a loss abt my GRE, i havent figured a way to get MUN to waive the conditionality. Though i'm planning to write the exam in Feb., i just dont want to delay my chances, any one with a way i could get the school to waive the GRE conditionality. Also i need a sample of employment bond/agreeement i hear there's a standard format for writing it, pls help me out. Thnks
