REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR FRESH STUDENTS
STEP 1: BIO-DATA REGISTRATION
1. Once you have been cleared, visit the University of Ilorin Website ( www.unilorin.edu.ng) and click on theNew Undergraduate Portallink
2. Click on theLoginLink on the Portal and log-in using your JAMB Registration Number as Login ID and Surname as your default password.
3. Fill the displayed Bio-data template carefully. You will be required to change your initial Password from your Surname to a new one which should be confidential and known to you alone. You are advised to choose a password that is difficult to guess but memorable to you. In case you forget your password, the password recovery is available online after payment of necessary charges. Please be mindful of the spellings and arrangements of your names.
STEP 2: COURSE REGISTRATION
a. After the completion of the Steps above, click onCourse Registrationlink to proceed with your course registration
b. Print out your preliminary course registration form and forward to your Level Adviser, who should authenticate the courses you have selected before payment. Once you register for wrong courses you will need to use Add/Drop form to make amendment(s).
NOTE:Any Student who fails to authenticate with the Level Adviser selected courses before payment does so at his/her own risk.
c. After authentication, go back to the website and register as advised by your Level Adviser.
d. Your customized charges and levies would be displayed and you would be requested to make online payment for approved charges, using your ATM Verve or Master Card.
NOTE:Students are expected to pay only N250.00 in addition to the main charges and thus they are to ensure that there is enough balance in their bank accounts.
e. If payment is successful, you are to print the payment receipt and four copies of the final course form.
f. Forward the copies to your Level Adviser and Faculty Officer for appropriate signatures and collect your copy from the Faculty Office. Keep your copy safely as you would need it for your Examinations.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR REGISTRATION IS INCOMPLETE EVEN AFTER SUBMISSION ONLINE UNTIL YOUR FORMS ARE ENDORSED BY YOUR LEVEL ADVISER AND FACULTY OFFICER WITHIN THE REGISTRATION PERIOD.
ADD AND/OR DROP FORM
NOTE:The form can be accessed after 3 weeks of registration. Processing of ADD/Drop Form is based on Semester and all procedures for actualizing ADD/DROP must be completed within the stipulated period.
Procedure for ADD/DROP
Students who have concerns regarding registration (e.g. error in registration) can add or drop courses. This should be done online without downloading any form by the affected students. The concerned students are required to pay online and effect changes as approved by their Level Adviser. Students should note that ADD/DROP of courses should be done within the period stipulated online by the University as lateness will not be condoned.
PAYMENT PROCEDURE
Students are to note that all payments shall be online and shall be through the use of ATM cards on the University Portal.
Note:ATM Cards on the InterSwitch platform are supported, including Verve and Master Cards.STUDENTS ARE ADVISED TO BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS IN THE HANDLING THEIR PAYMENT CARD DETAILS AND REPORT ANY FRAUDULENT ACT TO THE SECURITY UNIT, UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN

After about five years of planning, the University of Ilorin Water Factory complex has finally rolled out sparkling clean water in bottled and sachet forms.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. R. A. Lawal, who disclosed this to members of the University Senate last Wednesday (September 18, 2013), said that the N55 million project is now a reality, adding that “the factory is completed, test running is going on and initial production is being carried out.”
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor pointed out that the entire water that would be consumed during the forthcoming 29th Convocation ceremonies of the University in October would be supplied by the water factory, adding that Unilorin Water would also be served at the meeting of the University Council slated for this week.
Prof. Lawal explained that although the objective of the water project is to diversify and increase the University's internally generated revenue (IGR) profile, it would also be useful for the entrepreneurship programmes of the various Faculties. “We will use it as a training laboratory for our students”, he said.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor then congratulated the Director of Unilorin Consultancy Services Unit, the supervisor of the project, Prof. D. S. Ogunniyi, on a job well done.
Also briefing the Senate, Prof. Ogunniyi confirmed that the water factory was ready for commissioning, saying that apart from its revenue generating potential, the product from the factory would also enhance the health of members of the University community as it would be produced under strict hygienic conditions.
Prof. Ogunniyi said that the packaged water produced from the factory would be primarily for the consumption of members of the University community, adding that the factory would ensure that competitive prices are maintained for its products.
The completion of the project is in fulfilment of a promise made early this year by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, that his Administration would ensure the commencement of water production at the factory before the year runs out.
During his visit to the Unilorin Consultancy Services Unit on January 3, 2013, the Vice-Chancellor said, “We are going to encourage and promote Unilorin Consultancy Unit to complete the 'Unilorin Water' project very soon. It is going to be in both sachet and bottled forms. We are going to work on that so that we can take off and conclude on the installation very soon.”
Earlier in an interview with Unilorin Bulletin, Prof. Ogunniyi disclosed that samples of the products from the water factory are available, saying, “We are done with all production challenges and currently, we are about to start mass production which we intend to stock pile for the convocation period. Commercial test-run of our operation is starting soon.”
The Professor of Industrial Chemistry said, “At the beginning, students were asked to submit various designs of bottles. A competition was organised to pick the best design. The University raised a panel for this task of assessing students' responses and at the end, the best design was picked. We produced the mould and got a company to use the mould to produce the bottle. You can see 'University of Ilorin' clearly inscribed on it to discourage counterfeiting.”
The Director further disclosed that “relevant establishments particularly the National Agency for Food Administration and Control (NAFDAC), are being contacted for endorsement and support.

The University of Ilorin has announced the resumption date for its fresh and returning students for the 2013/2014 academic session. A press statement signed by the University's Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun, said that while fresh students will resume on September 28, 2013, returning students, who have been on holidays since June ending, are expected on campus on October 5, 2013. Mr. Akogun disclosed that admission exercise for the new academic session is almost complete and would be completed before the resumption. The statement added that registration exercise for new intakes has commenced in earnest and urged both fresh and returning students to visit the University website for instructions on the registration procedure.

Also make sure dah u've nt used either of ur scratch card more dan once 4 it to be valid......
