Did biometrics on Monday, towards the end of the day.

Just got an email to pick it up today. Less than 72 hours after.

However, I’m not in town at the moment. So, I’ll have to wait until Monday.

Will update the house on the verdict.

I guess I wrote a more compelling letter, and I also got as much evidence for ties with my company.

Please can you share the reasons you stated in your application to get the 10yrs.

You don’t have to state a special reason for duration of your visa.

Previous History;
1. May 2022 - 6 months visa was refused.
2. October 2022 - Reapplied using Super-priority, 6 months visa was granted and visa was used 3 times within the 6 months

Applied for 10 years visa.
Biometric- 27th.
Mail & Pick up - 5th May
10 years visa granted

Was in police HQ for like 3 hours today, but I couldn’t even do the biometric capture as they said I needed to receive a text message to come for biometrics.

Despite all the push, I didn’t get a text message till I left there.
Surprisingly, I got an Approval message and I found out now that I was able to download the certificate online.

Without capturing….

Go to Nigerian Police Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja. Tell them you are there to see Inspector Helen, second floor Forensic, they will direct you.

Just tell Inspector Helen that a friend directed you. She will attend to you asap.

Guys, please what's the implication of missing a UK visa appointment?

I have rescheduled and rescheduled and my last appointment date is Thursday, but my passport is stuck in another embassy, and I have not been able to get it out.
My application is for a Super priority visa.

Collection mail Wednesday 28th...

No rejection mail... But haven't collected passport..

yes it is not advisable. You sure can apply under priority or super priority however you might be wasting £250-£950 with very minute chances of refund. It is a UKVI service and not a TLS service meaning the money for this goes to the Home office and that’s why payment is only done in pounds.
Why is this preached? Due to previous refusal immigration history from the UK, the ECO might need to learn about your current situation, etc. more indept and may take time…. Which will not be feasible within 1 to 5 working days.

However, I learn that super priority don’t work for people with history of refusal.

I was refused for UK visa when I applied in May.
