FashionRe: Groomsman Walks Out Of Wedding As Baptist Church Tells Him To Remove His Earring by Karlirk: 1:14pm On Oct 05, 2021
That guy is stupid. If I were the pastor, I would have asked all of them to go home. That's a very bad omen for the marriage they were about to go into.

Keeping folks who cannot go the extra miles to stand by your side is really unfortunate.

Just do that for your friend. It was his day for Goodness sake.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan, Okowa Mentioned In PDP Presidential Prospects As South East Govs lose by Karlirk:
Not giving the South Easterners the presidential ticket will be the quickest way to the disintegration of this country.

I don't think folks understand that IPOB brought a different perceptive to the Biafran agitation.

Very stupid to also state that IPOB's activities endanger Igbo Presidency. Why was that not said when the Boko Haram-backed Buhari was contesting for president.

Again, it is rather insulting for the writer of that article, Emmanuel Aziken or whatever, to state that Fulani a Northern minority group will not accept an Igbo President from a majority ethnic extraction. Nigeria is shared between Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba. Even the colonial masters know this.

The quality of the state of mind of folks who comment here is appaling.

Nothing will happen if an Igbo person from the South East becomes a president.

If he/she fails to emerge, then consider a country out of that axis and its adjacents 5 years from now.

You folks don't understand the implications of the unanimity in the sit-at-home order. It brought a different dynamic to the game.

That said, Peter Obi will make a great president, any time, whether argued in terms of key competencies and regional diversity.

Very stupid folks in Nigeria indeed, reasoning out of the passion of hate and racism.

NIGERIA IS NOT SUSTAINABLE LONG TERM. YOU THINK IT IS FEASIBLE TO GO THE NEXT 2O YEARS (ASSUMING IT IS POSSIBLE) WITHOUT AN IGBO PRESIDENT FROM THE SOUTH EAST? FOLKS ARE REALLY FUNNY AND DREAMING. THE EARLIER YOU GO FOR THEM, THE BETTER. IT'S JUST INEVITABLE OR YOU JUST HAND THEM THEIR NEW COUNTRY ASAP.
PoliticsRe: President Buhari Thanks Imo State People For Giving Him A Warm Reception by Karlirk:
Looking back, I think he led one of the most hateful administrations in the history of Nigeria. Remember there are so many folks he murdered. He can't bring them back to life. The bandits are having a field day all over because they got intensely poorer. If a large number of folks in Lagos are homeless, imagine how it would be for those in the remotest parts of the North or South.

He led the country astray, wasted the whole of 8 years, turned the country's economy upside down, murdered so many people unnecessarily. Can't ever forget the Lekki Toll Gates incidents, soldiers dragging dead young people into the lagoons for their bodies to sail away for ever, just because they asked for a better life to live.

He never spoke to those he led, never showed up in moments that mattered most for both the servicemen and civilians.

Destroyed so many businesses, chased most of the country's most talented young people overseas; ruined several families' hopes of sending their children to school.

Only God will judge him.

Calling an ethnic group of over 40 million people folks of a dot in a circle, and rubbing their civil war deaths on their faces is the height of it. I hope they find a place in their hearts to forgive him.

Never build your life on hate and lack of empathy for others.

He wasted his power, wasted his humanity.
PoliticsRe: IPOB Sit-at-home Continues: South-east Traders, Others Lament Huge Losses by Karlirk:
An effective way of ideologically weaning folks away, towards an alternative government. Once the movement becomes deeply entrenched, it becomes easier to harness the movement towards major revolts. You will see this coming soon in 2023, including electing only those that accept and share the doctrines and sentiments of IPOB. A new wave of politicians will most possibly come out of the region in the next elections. Nigeria has to assuage the region or risk re-enacting what is currently happening in the Tigray region of Ethiopia sooner than thought.
LiteratureRe: My Feud With Akwaeke Emezi - Chimamanda Adichie Tells Her Side Of The Story by Karlirk: 1:16pm On Jun 16, 2021
Brandella:
Did you even read up to five sentences of this article?

That's the problem with our generation - Everyone is too eager to talk, and no one wants to listen.
Hi,

I read every bit of it. I thoroughly dissected, analyzed it and weighed the options and the implications for both parties.
LiteratureRe: My Feud With Akwaeke Emezi - Chimamanda Adichie Tells Her Side Of The Story by Karlirk:
Chimamanda went too low on this.

She should learn how to issue a press statement (and nothing more) to address any defamation that harms her personality.

Besides, young people need support and it is quite dishonest of her to describe same young people she is trying to help through her workshop as people who always want to benefit from her.

She must bear in mind she too had at, one time or the other, clung to people for the sole purpose of benefitting from them.

Now, a big question: Who does she accept in her circle. Can she accept and entertain a feminist from a financially unstable background like she did to the friend in her write-up?

In the end, everybody is a hypocrite.

Everything is not about beautiful writing.

PoliticsRe: Why North Doesn't Want Nigeria To Break Up — Arewa Consultative Forum by Karlirk: 8:27am On May 11, 2021
Nigeria shall break and must break, because Nigeria is not supposed to be one. How can Britain lump nationalities together against their will? Can you join Germany and France together? These white people disrespected Africa so much.

Nigeria not reaching 2023, from the looks of things. The.mounting unemployment rate is itself a problem. The economy is in tatters. If not for the young Yahoo people finding respite in their laptops, Nigeria would have been over and done with.

It's time to build Africa's largest economy. Give it to the Igbos, they know how to do that best.
