Sadly I doubt USofA will chicken out.

They won't want to admit losing the war neither will they want to abandon Israel.
I'm optimistic it'll end soon but the 'how' is still a mystery...

GeeKudi:
He is just making statements to manipulate the market. The only way to restore normalcy to the energy market is for them (US and Istael) to get out of Iran and end the war.

You have made a strong case for efficiency at Kwale. However, I don't think Phase II (additional 480MW) has been brought on stream. So we're likely dealing with just 480MW for now.

However, the 60MW turbine belongs to Bayelsa State (Yenagoa Power Project).
It will be powered with gas feed from the Oando gas manifold.

@ the bolded, It doesn't belong to OandO

robobo:
Abeggiiii make una face front

Oando has not fully utilised the full 960MW capacity of Kwale-Okpai Power Plant but is going after / procuring another 60 MW turbine.

Bunch of unserious people. if they are serious, by now the utilisation of Kwale-Okpai Power Plant should have moved from the about 300-350 they took over from NAOC to its full capacity of 960 mw. Also talk should have been in place to spin it off as an entity standing alone on NGX thereby maximising its value and releasing some cashflow for Oando itself but i guess that is not immediately gratifying like the 60mw.

Unserious bunch.

Is this 'bank' operating in Nigeria?

If you're referring to Alpha Morgan Bank, it has no link to Morgan Capital Securities...
chimex38:
But they also have a regional bank-->Morgan Capital Bank.
that even successfully met capitalization.
Funding shouldn't be much of a problem. They've got the investment connections.
Wonder their issues.

So VFD is proposing ₦0.25 as DIV.

Na wa sad
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom:
True.

The other income was basically used to repay debts so it didn't really boost the EPS. Moving forward, the interest they would have paid would now count as profit.

debeey87:
Are we not considering that "other income" boosted earnings a lot here. What happens next year when they've sold all the assets held for sale?
I already broke it down here:
KarlTom:
PZ cool

So in Q3 they repaid $21.6mn (₦31.9bn) to PZCH.
By FY25/26, they'll have [literally] zero debt as they've been discharged of the balance owed ($18.6mn) by the parent (PZCH).

Good times are back!

I expect a FY EPS of ₦15
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 10:09am On Mar 31
I project it'll oscillate around ₦95 until FY...

Oh.
I believe that using the total DIV will give a better picture.
If ₦15 is all OKOMU paid for FY2025, the SP will definitely tank...
Mpeace:
The final dividend. He already collected interim dividends I guess

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 7:24am On Mar 31
This maths is not adding up.

Did you use the final DIV or Total DIV for calculating the %
Mpeace:
lol if the company paying 15 is Okomu, then you mad the better decision selling it to buy WAPCO paying N6.
WAPCO dividend ratio/percentage is 2.78%, while Okomu N15 has a ratio/percentage of 0.85%.

So WAPCO is giving a high percentage dividend
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 9:52pm On Mar 30
You already got ₦40 (₦30 + ₦10).
₦55 total DIV is not poor.

PS: SP reference should be ₦1095 not ₦1765

smiley

jonnysessy:
This N15.00k final dividend is poor for Okomu oil, a stock selling above N1700 huh huh huh huh
