sappy1981: Good Morning Nadnad,
I was one of the fortunate few to get my visa approved after the first used for Child birth purposes on that day. The VO was very firm and denied all who had stayed longer than the declared period on the DS 160 form.
Its a bad story for the couple banned from the USA for life. It is well. Do you know why they were banned? I mean the couple. And congratulations |

OnizeB: If one's parent is in this situation, and you have reasons for overstaying, will explaining the reason help, cos my mum overstayed the last time Did she apply for an extension? |

Gvstavo: Sorry about your mom's delay, did she overstay her visa by 4months or she spent 4months more than the stipulated time on her DS-160 when she applied. I'm just curious because my mom may be in similar situation, she spent 4 and half months on her last visit due to covid travel restrictions but she returned to Nigeria before her visa expired. The main problem the VO stated is she said she was spending 3weeks and spent 4months in 2017. She told her to always say 4months if she wants to stay 4months |

Dampops: She has to apply for another interview afresh and the dates are far away: 2023 ish…
You’ll have to keep checking for her…you can make the visa fee payment for a start Thank you! I thought as much. I hope dates ease up soon |

So my parents went for the follow up interview today. My dad was approved but not my mom. Reason she stayed more than she said on past visit even though it was 4months and she got caught up here during covid. Even though she applied for extension. How soon again can she apply? Any idea how farther new appointment dates are? Always say the exact times you intend to stay from the beginning, the VO said that outrightly! |

megastu: I am a bit confused on this 221G follow up interview. The first date that popped up for me I chose was March 3rd but my passport was still with them. After traveling to go attend the interview, the processing guys sent me back to go get my passport as it was just sent. I have now collected the passport yesterday and saw the white paper with “schedule follow up interview” no dates are however popping up. How do I proceed to conclude the 221G interview? If you know kindly shed light. Thank you. Your white paper didn't ask you to come for interview on Thursdays 6-9am? Did it ask you to go schedule an appointment? |

Nikanne: Guessing, the scheduling of appointment was an old system and they’ve decided to stick with Thursday’s now. Dropped on the 28th and got the note to come on any Thursday. This is just me guessing, I can’t say for sure I saw recently some people were asked on the paper to schedule an appointment |

MaryAndrews: I'm wondering if there is a difference between those asked to come for interview on any Thursday and those asked to schedule an interview online after an initial refusal Yeah wondering too |

mrsnoname: It seems everyone who submitted Feb 25 got refused, my parent application was refused too. That have never used more than 2weeks in USA. Never did anything wrong. I’m just wondering why it was refused Were you asked to book a follow up interview appointment in the letter please? |
Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by karypops(f): 7:53pm On Mar 07, 2022 |
naivasha: Just out of curiousity, do you think the IW refusal rate is higher than what would have obtained if applicants attended face to face interviews? I think so. Sometimes with interviews u have opportunity to explain some situations. My parents also got refused and waiting to collect passports. Not sure if cos mom was caught up here during covid, but she came back in after that. No idea why its refused until we get the response |

thanks sir.i appreciate PrinceAdeAde: Her return is 20th march. the price $120 was for upgrade to economy comfort seat 17A which is one of the seats you can use bassinet For change in date which i am considering, I was advised by both delta local and international office respectively that it would cost $102 though the Nigeria office agent was surprised at the price they were seeing on the system. She suggested it should be more based on the fact that I bought promo ticket
