The founder and leader of a controversial Atlanta-based megachurch has taken down his online appeal for 200,000 people to each donate '$300 or more' so that he can buy a $65 million private jet amid a media backlash.

Reverend Creflo Dollar, 53, is the head of the World Changers Church International, a Christian ministry centered around the prosperity gospel, which preaches that God wants to bless the faithful with earthly riches.

The televangelist, who is one of the most prominent African-American preachers in the United States, last week put a five-minute video up on his website asking for donations for a Gulfstream G650 - which claims to be the fastest plane ever built in civilian aviation - so that 'World Changers Church International can continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace'.

The webpage, as of Sunday afternoon, had been shuttered, WXIA first reported. However, the faithful may still donate to the cause via the World Changers donation site, which remains open.

Dollar - who is known to own two Rolls Royce's and multi-million dollar homes in Atlanta and New Jersey - last hit headlines in 2012, after being arrested for allegedly attacking his 15-year-old daughter.

Who says the bible is holy? Do you know the meaning of the word bible. Bible means collection of books. So, you need to ask yourself if the books collected together were holy and divine before the bible can be address as being only.

Books written, on an account of an event that happen, by individuals can't be referred to as holy. Yes, these books might contain some quotation from an holy book such as Gospel of Jesus christ himself, that does not make it holy.

Divine revelations or Holy books are reveal directly by God to His chosen ones, such as Jesus christ. The individual must be a true prophet and a messenger of God sent to a nation, as in the case of Moses and Jesus sent to the people of Israel with Torah and Injil (The Gospel) respectively.

You haven't proven that the Bible isn't Holy. You haven't discredited anyone of the people who penned it down via the inspiration of the Holy Spirit!

1. It confirms He is the Son of God. Only God has power over death.
2. It confirms our victory over sin, sickness and death. By faith in Jesus Christ, we can live supernatural lives in a decay filled world.
3. It confirms He will return to take those that have walked with Him as He promised.
4. It confirms that we can walk as He did as He has empowered us to live like Him in this world.
5. It confirms that our sins have been forgiven and we hence no longer have to live under the burden of guilt!

Obviously Israel has better human rights freedoms than that found in most islamic countries. The authenticity of the op is questionable because I know personally people who have visited the holy land during easter without restrictions.
Either way I believe the jewish state should be more ethical in their quest for statehood because even their boss Jesus wasn't killing Himself over their statehood actualisation but over their repentance.
