The emphasis therefore has to be on what effect adultery has. In today's age, it is not "really" regarded as a "sin" since it is an " act" between two "willing" people. But the Bible; the hand book of life considers it one. Many moral groups do too. So what is the negative effect of adultery (sexual immortality) on the society or person.
Sex is more like the ink or signature on a contract. A contract that dedicates two people to each other; absolving them of too many responsibilies to other friends, family and relations. When a man gets into adultery either with the mind (pornography included) or body, he (/she) absolves him(/her) self from responsibilies to God and society and makes a contract or dedicates one's self to the sexual partner without the usual "clearance" or permission given by God and family through the act of marriage! Most times the contract is eventually loathed as it is hyperinflated and laced with alot of lies the concerned person gets to discover much later into the affair.
Sexual immortality hence produces self centered irresponsible citizens obsessed with self pleasure and hedonism.
That carried out in the mind can hence have as much effect as that done in the body!

Any political party that thinks it can play the bigotry card and neglect any geopolitical zone in administration will regret it at the polls sooner or later!
