The reason people don't like WW84 is because it's at best a terrible movie regardless of expectations due to the first film. A bad movie is a bad movie whether in a pandemic or not

Blast was able to beat up Elder Centipede to a near death experience, I don't see Tatsumaki doing that.

Then we have Saitama that casually killed that same monster with one punch, Tats all hype no feat.

The fact that you don't know is why Tatsumaki remains the undisputed No 2. The power level difference doesn't mean anything. If person wey carry 1st for class get 100% and person wey get 2nd score 23%, you can't take away their 2nd position because of the gap.

Saitama, for all his fears, still remains relatively unknown and unrecognized.

First off, it would seem the mass renouncing of wishes was more an aftereffect of Max Lord renouncing his wish to be the stone. If you noticed, he was the first to renounce, and then everyone else followed suit.
Secondly, not all terrorists want to see the world burn. One man's terrorist can be another man's freedom fighter. Some just have an idea or vision they're fighting for.
That terrorist probably realized just like the US and Russian presidents that nuclear weapons created more problems instead of solving them.

It's a decent war drama borrowing elements from Spielberg's Warhorse and Children of Men, though I feel it's a little bit hyped: good thing it didn't clinch the award for Best Picture.

However, I must commend the production designers for really capturing what a war torn landscape looks like especially the first 30 minutes from the trenches to "No man's land".

The littered corpses of horses, soldiers, damaged weapons coupled with the blast ridden soil reminded me again of why I wouldn't like to be in a war.
