A superhero has superpowers. In a superhero movie, the superhero is expected to use his or her superpowers. In short, action is expected where superpowers are involved.

Okay, the director of the WW84 movie decided not to do much action- no problem. However, the drama in the movie was not even good drama. The bad guy was a joke. A forgettable snake-oil salesman. The plot was ridiculously filled with plot holes and ra.pe. The ending was quite foolish and the bad guy got no comeuppance- apparently, crime pays.

WW84 was advertised as a Superhero experience, therefore, the blame for failing to actualize its own projections lies strictly on the studio. Consumers dissatisfaction is completely excusable.

Having said that, I enjoyed the film.

Besides, there are some good soap operas but this particular one was boring

The teasers in the second episode was kinda nice sha, but generally, not feeling it yet.

However, MCU has a total of 20+ films, compared to the 6 Middle-earth films, or the 9 Potterverse films

Compared individually, the level of acclaim may differ between ALL these films but the sheer fact that NONE of the 20+ films from the MCU have been critically panned is quite impressive to me. The worst MCU film records a "Fresh" rating on RT, as well as decent ratings from other critic sites.


I don't think you could point to any other franchise this consistent, with more than 20 movies.


That being said, my point was if the MCU will soon get a critically derided film, seeing as there is no conclusion to the film universe anytime soon
