Yes, I liked Gillian. But I think you're overreacting. American Gods was never about a character. And as much as the actors are doing a great job, (Pablo Schreiber, Bruce Langley & even Kristin Chenoweth had me tripping in the episode finale), I'ld definitely still see S2 even if they all leave. The story is really gripping.

Finally watched Baby Driver.
Plot was okay but it was the musical theme that blew my mind. The weapons sale shootout where there gunshots provided the soundtrack was just plain genius. Jamie Foxx killed his role as Bats.
Definitely a 7/10

Haven't watched any episodes since Christmas. Got a lot of catching up to do this week

2017 was fun. With a good number of awesome, jaw-dropping moments. Let's see what WWE has in store for us this 2018

My final ratings? 5/10 and that's because of my age-long respect for Jackie Chan alone. Nevertheless both Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan had given their all to great movies in the past, and we will always pay tribute to that; but THEY are now a shadow of their former selves. Also, what accent was Pierce Brosnan speaking with?, cos it got me confused for the most part if not that I watched with the movie subtitle.

So because Chan wasn't playing some goofy nice guy and Brosnan wasn't a suave, smart-talking agent, they are now a shadow of their former selves. Nigga please.
Those two gave solid performances. Jackie was the picture of heartbreaking depression as befits a man who just lost the last valuable person in his life. Then transitioning those feelings to focused vengeance.
Pierce was easily despicable as a corrupt politician with a twisted agenda.
What else did you want from them?
Pierce's accent in the movie is Northern Irish Brogue

If u read thru my initial review, It was pointed out that they should av narrated a little bout orgs, elves.. Wen I say narrating,, I'm not talking bout that thrash they wrote on d street wall.. Courtesy demands that "an abstract storyline should be orally narrated for its audience to folo......... A whole lot of imaginary fiction was used, from d " wan* to 20years old fairy with magical powers which a ordinary human was able to beat... Mtchewww.. Bro, I don't know how you can call yourself a "critical review student" and expect to be spoon fed a movie's storyline and setting.
Fine, let me break it down for you.
The setting of the movie is in a fantasy modern day world where elves, humans, orcs, dwarves, fairies exist together. ( If you pay attention to detail, a dragon was flying during one of the night scenes).
As the movie progresses, you'll notice that elves are the highest class or race while orcs are generally despised. From the conversations, you'll realize that this is due to events of about 2000 years ago when the orcs sided with the Dark Lord.
From the action scenes, you'll notice that orcs are the physically strongest while elves are the fastest ( a staple in everyday fantasy).
Lastly, I don't recall a scene where any human beat an elf. It took the combined efforts of an elf, a man & an orc to do it.

My friend, if you need oral narration to follow a storyline as simple as Bright's storyline, you have no business watching movies above PG-13, let alone call yourself a reviewer. This is not an insult. It's fact

Anyone giving Bright poor ratings here should be banned from posting ratings / reviews.
Addressing issues like racism, local gangs, police corruption, government manipulation in a fantasy setting is a genius concept on its own. Managing to maintain a serious tone in such a universe is an admirable feat. And delivering a coherent plot was the coup de gras.
With solid performances from Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. Good acting from Lucy Fry.
Bright is a solid 8.5/10.

P.S: I'm usually of the opinion that everyone cannot like a movie but anyone that rates Bright less than 6/10 here again should have their IQ level checked

You know it bro. It wasn't an individual happy ending kind of anime. And some deaths were really emotionally upsetting.

While I agree with the girl that there are a lot of sexual predators, it says something about her if all the men she's met are sexual predators. I've met my fair share of hoes but I can't say "Women are hoes" because I've also met a lot of decent ladies, besides my mother and sisters. So I know there are decent girls out there. If all the men she's encountered are sexual predators, then she needs to examine herself and her activities properly.
