naijadrivablog:Hello commentator, not all Kazeem behaves as you think. That is my name and I have never had issues with anyone either at home, within the neighborhood or office, not even my wife. Nobody has ever settled any differences between me and my wife of 11years marriage. Name is different from people's attitudes. I would want you to reveal your own name, may be people will use that name to describe you as the best of human beings on earth. |
Buffalo2:What makes you think it's your own name that guarantee you to make heaven or what have you done in your whole life that guarantee you to make heaven |

Ladiesdoctor:Is the chairman Prof. Doyin Salami a northerner? There are only 3 northerners and 5 southerners in that committee chaired by a man from the south west who is equally qualified. I don't know why you are been tribalistic about this. What we should be praying for is a result that will impact a positive change in the lives of ordinary Nigerians and not this sentiment pls. |
Jaynom:It is better you sit yourself down and think of what you can manufacture instead of condemning other right thinking innovators. You can't produce milk, but you can throw away the milk others are producing. |
Tinubu as far as I am concerned has done far better than all the politicians we currently have. Though, he has his own shortcomings. He governed Lagos state for 8 years and developed human capacity, which can be revered to as Human Capital Development (HCD). Atleast 90% of the commissioners worked under Tinubu in Lagos state has held positions in higher level of governance than any other states commissioners in Nigeria today. Most of them have become governors, ministers, senators and held positions at the the federal levels including the current vice President. (courtesy of Tinubu). He uplifts people under him compared to other politicians that has been ruling since 1999. I have never met him personally neither any of my family members have directly benefitted from him. So nobody should think am defending him because of that. But in reality, He is far above board compared to others we know. It is now left for those people he uplifted to now develop the Southwest, by extension Nigeria. There is an adage that says you can take a horse to the river, but can't force the horse to drink water. |

Because of these atrocities, they can change names like chameleon. Dibia Obinna also known as Agumuo Nnamdi. Na them |
YorubaAssasin:You are one of the view reasonable people on this platform. Kudos to you |
APCpackandgo:If you refer to Yoruba as a zombie and slave of the gambari. Pls how do you describe your tribe? Yoruba has ruled this country for years both as the President and vice President. But your region has never tasted it just because you don't have a worthy and formidable personality you can all support. You only queue behind the Fulanis you called "Islamist/extremist" and castigating everyday. Tell me if Atiku is from your tribe. You will forever be a slave to the fulanis anytime, any day. Watch out, the presidency is coming back to the Southwest in 2023. Then you will know who is the real slave in Nigeria. |
whiteeyes:Invariably, you are saying the old and retired generals are the only capable ones that can rule this country. You mean we don't have capable youths out there? So, why are we blaming President Buhari? That is hypocritical. |
Omeokachie:Hypocrisy is when you condemned Buhari but support Useni |
yeyerolling:You need to go for a brain checkup, you have no sympathy at all |
Something keeps baffling me on this platform, when politicians are still in PDP, the supporters will not say anything about them. But when they defects, you will see lots corrupt cases the man has been to which they decided to keep mute. The question is why didn't they condemn this people while still in PDP? |
Buffalowings3:You are wrong. This is Ahmed Lawan not Farouq Lawan |
ClassRep001:If you are winning and dining in Lagos (afonja) land and still have the guts to hate afonja People. You will all end in Lagos lagoon. |
ClassRep001:Then why visiting Lagos and not stay in your state? Why don't you advise your people in Lagos to return to your various States? You complain it's all bones, they asked you to throw it away, you are still saying their is still meat in the bone. Is your state not enough place for you to succeed in life? Go back to your state and leave Afonja states alone. |
dipoted:We thought of that until some revelations are coming up which shows his not selective in fighting corruption. His case is still in court right now, Even Kalu who is campaigning for the President on daily basis is still in court. His case is adjourned till next month, the currently convicted former governor of Plateau state Joshua Dariye has decamped to APC since 2016. Yet, he was convicted and sent to 14 years imprisonment without and option of fine. |
Well, it seems some people now prefer the continuation of the business as usual, until when their will be no revenue from the sale of crude oil as some countries are developing what is called electric automobiles. The masses will become wretched while the looters will result to borrowing and looting. Billions being siphoned since the inception of this Democratic dispensation. No government is ready to take the bull by the horn to fight the nemesis called corruption but aid and abetting. Now this man decided to fight corruption to any length, we are still not satisfied. If you are talking of economy, this man put those who believe have what it takes to drive the economy forward. The southerners are appointed to man the economy aspect of the nation. The ministers in charge of the economy are from the south believing that south west is good in commerce and industry and south east is good in technology and northerners are the best in terms of security, because they are more in military than any other region. Ministries of finance, power, works and housing, labour and employment, transportation, mineral resources, technology, communications, petroleum, CBN, NIMASSA, FIRS, are being handled by the southerners. These are directly involved in the growth and development of the economy. So, if we still have problems with the economy, the southerners are to be blamed. Any problem faced with the security is the fault of the northerners. As for the appointments, the President to my own understanding made the right decision. |
Okezedan:We thank you for calling us a sophisticated slowpoke. We have being on our toes since the 1999 as a united tribe, that is why we are able to capture the central government. Right from the AD days to AC to ACN and now APC. An opposition party. We are firm with our believe and not like you that abandon your regional party registered by your warlord and leader called APGA and decided to support a party from the north called PDP. Now your leader died and his party also died. Your neighbor (Donald Duke) now declared to contest for the presidential election. You all against him simply because you are supporting a candidate from a tribe you all condemned. You called them Hausa Fulani heardsmen. Now who is a slowpoke? If you know you are not a slowpoke, support your indigenous party, bring out a candidate from your region and win the election. |
I don't know why the Indigbos here are attacking Yorubas on this issue. Yorubas have the right to vote for whoever they which to vote for. The same applies to the Ibos. You don't expect us to have the same mindset. APC has not performed excellently well though but PDP is a disaster and a parasite to this nation. If their is another party better of with a better and acceptable candidate, we are ready to vote for him/her. But definitely not PDP. Their 16 years of misrule is enough. |
DrObum:It is expected. It is not (business as usual). Let them continue defecting |
I am very surprised with all these comments to this news. We tends to tribalise all news in this country. An Hausa lady finds a suitor through internet, people started castigating her as if what she did is wrong. In as much as they don't go to an extreme by asking for nude pics and all that. We southerners that are commenting now are the one doing this online stuff mostly, but we don't see it as something immoral. But because she's an Hausa lady, we started shor shor shor shor. We have a lot of girls from the southeast, southwest and south south married to white. We have never condemned them, late alone talking of recruiting for Christian extremist. This country has turned to something else. |
When Governor Fashola's administration ban this so called Okada, We all against it. I believe Fashola never for ones go out with Okada, but did it for the sake of the poor masses. You will see how this people ride okada on the highway against the traffic and their patronizers will never complain, instead blame and abusing the commuters. He took okada because he's rushing to somewhere. Now he was unable to get to where he was going. I believe this would be a lesson to other okada patronizers. May God forgive his sins and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. |
