mcstar: Ok thanks. But the thing is that I don't know how long the processing, visa, etc would take that's why. I have only second semester left and I don't plan to go for service. But even at that transcript isn't that fast in my school.

the processing visa ranges from 4 to 6 months. But I suggest u apply online which could be pretty much faster, let's say 4 to 8 weeks. Well if u plan not to go for service no wahala, but for an int'l student to be admitted u need a full transcript from ur 100 to 400 level. So just chill and stay glue to this forum. Hav a nice day.

Hello everyone. Pls I'm trying to apply to a university in Canada for my masters but part of the requirement is that I submit my transcript. I am in my final year now. Should I just continue with the application or can you suggest any other good school that doesn't require a transcript. I want to pursue a master's degree in Engineering.

apple08: Pls i want to ask, has CDHC stopped working on Fall Applicants? Anyone been to chdc recently? I was there 3 weeks ago and i was told they are still working on May 24th applicants.. Did the whole of Fall applicants submit on May 24th? Pls help oooo, tired of waiting...

. I was at the ambassy this morning. After filling the form I submitted and had to wait for 3 and half hours before I was cald on phone. The ladies response was that they were presently attending to applicants who submitted on the 24th of may dis year. I told her that this gist abt still treating applicants files who submitted on 24th of may have been on ground now for more than 3 weeks. But she was not able to say anything. My fellow fall applicants, let's still be full of prayes and God will definately touch there hearts to call us ijn.amen

clusterphobia: Hello peeps, just want to confirm if I am alone on this. Submitted my application via an agent may 28th for setember start date and I haven't been called for medicals. I plan on doing some form of inquiry tomorrow (monday) my life is on a standstill cos of this.
So....
1. Am I alone on this?
2. What do you advice me!!

Pardon me if my question sounds kinda repetitive of what someone might have said earlier but 360+ pages is a lot to read.

@ clusterphobia I'll suggest u go der tomorrow. Although for 3 weeks nw chdc claims they've been working on peeps that submitted there application on the 23rd of may. I'll suggest you go der with all necessary document u can use in making inquiry. Did u apply online or through paper route?

Pls let's stop all arguments and jokes on this forum. Too many conversations and jokes which creates anxiety for many becos the pages are moving just too fast. Any time I notice a page ending, I feel maybe some fall hopefuls hav been cald for medicals. Pls let's apply moderacy and caution in the way we pose inpalatible criticism and jokes in here cos u might never know who is watching and hoping to benefit from this forum.

onuawuchi: 19 weeks and CDHC is still with my Originals. No medical, no replies to email. Though darkness may tarry a while longer,but joy will ALWAYS come in the morning.

I think they have preference for those going into the sciences than those of us in arts. They can muscle up as they like, all I know is that God is stronger than they are.

. @ onuawuchi I hav also not heard from chdc despite the fact that I submitted 15 weeks ago and I was to resume last week tuesday. I don't think preferences are given to people based on the type of course enrolled for, I tink maybe they are just operating on a raffle draw basis, thats why some people that even submitted after us has been cald for medicals. Lol. Since you've gotten another start day, I will suggest you go and make inquiry @ chdc abt ur application, since its far beyond 4 months and they said processing time takes 4-6 months, atleast u derserve to be given audience. Who knows u could just be favoured.

tebenezer: Hello and good morning to you all.Please how can i submit my new admission letter?I have to defer my admission to winter intakes since cdhs did not answer me ever since i submitted.I spoke with an agent on vfs website and she said that i cannot do so until the embassy instruct me,plz how true is this because i dont think the VO will be any means know that i have deferred my admission with the school and i want my application to keep receiving treatment.....Plz ogas in the house,ur prompt response is needed.....Thanks

. hello @ tebebezer, the vfs official is correct, if you were not instructed by chdc to get a new start date, don't go der and submit one. I feel u shd go der and make inquiry abt ur application,telling them hw u defered ur admission becos u were'nt cald for medicals on time. Then theY shd be able to tell u weda to get a new start date, then u can instantly submit d 1 with u and d receipt of ur tuition fee if u've paid.

Hi everyone.any news from supposed fall 2013 medical hopefuls in the house?

I will like to congratulate everyone in this forum that hav just been issued a TRV and pray that God will grant them safe trip to canny ijn Amen ... And I pray as I and other fall hopefuls who have'nt been cald for medicals, and for this reasons opted for a change in start date. God will settle our case as from today ijn.Amen.

@ Don Riley,Pholubaba etal fall hopefuls. To be sincere with you I think you should mail your various schools and ask them for the next available start date in order to resume then. I submitted my application through vfs on the 31st of may this year (NIAGARA COLLEGE PG)and am yet to be cald for medicals. Most fall applicants resume at most on the 5th and if an extension is granted,this might just be for a week or at most two weeks which I doubt. OK Don Riley and other fall expectants, let's engage in some little brainstorming,anyways if am wrong I stand to be corrected.... If ones school gives an extension of 2 weeks atmost to resume, and we are yet to be cald for medicals, how are we going to meet up with uncertainty,knowing quite well that TRV can take 1-3 months according to our suscessful contemporaries? This definitely will result into late resumption - academics overseas most especially canada is of high standards, and as such requires resuming at most two weeks after normal start date, failure to comply means you are behind schedule and this can affect ones academic performance,thus leading to extras. My suggestions is that we fall hopefuls mail our various schools to change our start date,if we are lucky we might get an october,december dis ear or January 14 intake. After acquiring this letter we go to CHDC to collect the normal form,attach the new start date letter from your school, and compassionately write in the form your hurdles and how you arrived at a new start date. I am very convinced that CHDC would definitely call us for our medicals and we would be good to go for TRV'S. This news might serve dishearten because we hope to resume next week and not even a month or two extra,but let's keep the faith going and am sure God will inter vein for us, winter 14 hopefuls and for all TRV awaitees in the house.IJN AMEN

@ frederal. In respect to ur question. I mailed CHDC day b4 yesterdy ard 5.20pm stating to make inquiry abt my status which was submitted since 31st of may dis year 2ru vfs. At first I recivd an automated mail stating der routine message of 4-6 mnts processing tyme so I ignored and signed out. Yyesterdy morning as I opened my mail,I was mailed directly by CHDC to state my passport no,DOB,Name as appear on my passport and d date of submission. I sent this to them immediately and have been checking my mail till nw,still haven't been contacted.

@ lucky Don's: am so sorry abt ur lost, I want to beliv God has special interest for u @ heart. Don't give up. I sugest u restrategize b4 reapplying. For all the aspiring Fall candidates in the house,God still reigns n dis week will definately bring smiles 2 us.IJN.AMEN.

@ playpays. Wen u get to CDHC, ask from the security man that u want a withdrawal form but don't ever make the mistake to withdraw ur package if not no canny for you again. Hers wat u'll fill in the form- ur names as written on ur passport,ur date of birth,reasons for inquiry,the reference number written on ur vfs receipt and then ur cell number so u can be contacted by the VO. Then return back to the security as you wait at the lobby outside.

@ playpays. Wen you get to the embassy,tell the security at the gate that you want to collect a withdrawal form,wen he gives you don't ever try withdrawing ur doc if not no more canny for you. what u will go ahead in filling in the form are your names as written on your passport,date of birth,reference no qouted on ur vfs receipt,reason for enquiry, n ur telephone no so dat the VO can call u rite away. Then submit the form back to the security man.
