Seunalasho: Hello everyone,I have bin accepted in niagara college for post graduate degree in international business it's an 8months program my acceptance letter will get to me by next week Friday so I intend going through the online route.my questions are:1)is the school a good school and is it recognised. 2)I just got married last year may(I have my marriage cert,wedding pics,newspaper change of name)but I intend saying am married and all my documents including my int'passport is in my father's name and my husband is my sponsor don't know what to do I just finished NYSC dis October but my NYSC cert is the only one in my husband's name while I was serving I was working in an oil company so my boss said he will give me an employment letter and study leave letter.so shld I fill am married or not. 3)my tuition fee is 14,800 d closing balance in my sponsor's acct is close to 6m with landed prperties like 3.my boss is sayin can he add his own statement too don't no wat to do I feel my husband own is ok so I won't complicate things. 4)how many months or weeks does online route take?since my school is resuming may when can I submit my application and I was told by my school that immediately I get my acceptance letter I shld submit immediately. 5)and my last question is my husband is my sponsor what are the docs I need from him for online route and on my own part what are the docs I need to get on my own for online.thanks so much all of you may God grant our heart desires.pls student that went thru online route pls assist me

Come and see as my hands were vibrating when I sat outside to open my package and check my visa *smiles*. I checked through the pages of my passport and found no visa. I had envisioned travelling this month, to resume Jan 2 in Ontario. But it's all good. I was told the authorities are not satisfactorily convinced I will come back after my programs. That my ties in Canada and Nigeria is not convincing enough. Guy please help me with info. I gotta re apply with a better strategy. I was very week, found it hard to go back to work, like to just take off the whole day and stay on my bed. But I just had to encourage myself. God will cause it to work for my good. Aneg u can strike out my name for jan resumption on dat list. You all are amazing. We'll all achieve our desires by God's grace. Enough TRV and medicals this week for all these my people on NL I pray. Much love guys

@ champion don't worry, you are on the right track if you are going in for a year PGD. There are lots of provincial nominee program for international students who are studying for their master or post graduate program,this depends on the province you intend schooling in. For instance, those that will be schooling in ontario can use the PNP to fast track there permanent residence permit.upon graudation and having gotten a job offer, your employer will fill a form called the pre-screen application form on your behalf,once this is done, you will then submit the form with other supplementary document to cic. Note the fee for internation student is $1,500,as soon as your application is positive,gbam, you will be a permanent resident holder with almost all the full benefits of a canadian citizen.

There are two options, you can make a deposit of 200 dollars,but it doesn't carry weight because once you have been sent your LOA, you will be given a deadline to pay for your first semester fee in the letter which is almost like 70 percent of your initial fees. So I will suggest you don't bank on 200 dollars deposit to keep your seat, rather pay up your first semester fees as stipulated on your LOA before due.

But if you have the financial capacity, pay your full tuition fee in order to convince the VO'S that you are a bonifide student.
