tuniski: Wrong only statements and confessions obtained under duress that are not admissible. A police can obtain evidence without warrant in a sting operation! Or you think going undercover will require warrant to video tape material evidence? A sting operation is sanctioned by law. Someone stealing INEC data has no such legal protection. And any evidence used by anybody in court must be without questions before it is permissible. |
Politics › Re: Atiku Has A Good Case In Court! by kayfra: 2:40pm On Apr 24, 2019 |
tuniski: You are very wrong please expand your horizon on law of evidence. If one breaks into a house to obtain a material evidence, the evidence remains valid based on genuineness and relevance but, a crime of house breaking has been committed. Not true. If a police obtains evidence without a valid warrant, it will be inadmissible not to talk about a random civilian. It's a legal proceeding and not evidence for a news report. |
Politics › Re: Atiku Has A Good Case In Court! by kayfra: 1:45pm On Apr 24, 2019 |
tuniski: There is nothing like illegal evidence. Once the evidence is genuine and relevant, it will be admissible. The manner of obtaining it may create/constitute an offence punishable separately. Any evidence obtained via an illegal means is illegal. It is tainted and not even admissible in a Kangaroo court, if we had one. Go read up on legal cases and why many cases were thrown out of court due to improper evidence. |
Politics › Re: Atiku Has A Good Case In Court! by kayfra: 12:36pm On Apr 24, 2019 |
tuniski: It will be admitted even if it is illegally obtained for as long as it is authentic and relevant. You can't use an illegal evidence in court. It's a court of law for Christ's sake. Imagine the precedent that will set! |

Wiseandtrue: Not if the whistle blower under protection can testify in court in a worst case scenario!!! His witness will have to testify, whistleblower or no-whistleblower. The person will be cross-examined and will have to say how what he did was not in contravention of INEC rules or the law. It will be thrown out before anybody knows it. |

Heffalump: @ OP the greatest case Atiku has against Buhari would be the discrepancy and alteration of election results different from what the INEC server produces.
This is a very concrete evidence to be tendered in course. Actually, that's his most useless case against Buhari. The so-called evidence will be thrown out of court faster than you can say garri. |

Ebullience: By Rotimi Ojomoyela
ADO-EKITI—THE Afenifere Renewal Group, ARG, in Ekiti State, yesterday, expressed confidence that the Yoruba nation would produce the country’s next president in 2023.
Speaking with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, State Coordinator of ARG, Mr. Bunmi Awotiku noted that the body would play significant role in rallying the Yoruba nation for the realisation of the 2023 agenda.
He said: “The South West has been supportive of the policies and programmes of the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and we shall continue to do so. We want him to succeed and he shall succeed by God’s grace.
“We would come to the round table and I can assure you that Yoruba would forge a common front this time around. We have learned our lessons as a people and we won’t allow internal fight or acrimony to deprive us this great opportunity like the presidency.”

id911: Which constitution? The Nigerian constitution is a fraud. Buhari is not qualified to run for president. The only evidence you attended and completed school is your certificate. He should present his WASC. Don't tell me WAEC recently gave him one. So why did he refuse to present it? Him no say na Oluwole Certificate Waec Nigeria give am. Can you present an affidavit to an employer when looking for a job like what Buhari did? School is not even required as far as INEC says so. Don't be emotional, just follow the constitution |

FortuneDeGreat: Schooling your master through a borrowed script? Lol, get a life, what would serve as testimony of attaining o level or it's equivalent if not the certificate? What would you present as a qualification for employment into public service if not your certificate? Or are you trying to tell us that jubril became a public servant through the back door? Mr scholar You can go trace Jubril in Sudan. As far as our constitution is concerned, Buhari is more than academically eligible. Argue with the framers of the constitution |
