jfkenny:Hmm! I hope the experts come and give you some answers. So, what's up...are they still eating a bag in 3 days? My 102 Noilers are now finishing a bag in 5 days. It is becoming scary. |
Chapter 8 Weeks went by and Tony settled into his new life. He got so busy and almost wished for things to go back to how they were when he was broke. He kind of understood the saying in that old Spiderman movie, ‘with great power comes great responsibility.’ Nothing good in life is really free. He got a girl to die for, a very flexible career, and he didn’t even have to worry about money ever again as the passive income from his book sales was coming in huge sums daily. Add that to the settlements he got from all the gigs Judith had worked out for him- he was set for life. He was making money faster than he could spend it. But he didn’t like one thing. Just one thing he wished he could have kept from all these- his privacy. Everyone knew everything about him. And what they didn’t see on him and Judith’s reality show, the Bloggers wrote about. He also didn’t like that he had to change his phone number once he got famous. He didn’t want to, but the endless calls he got from the people from his past was so disturbing. Most of them wanted money, and he was even almost okay with those set of people. The people he had a problem with were the ones that barely knew him when he was broke, but now wanted to be best buddies with him. They never understood that his time was now more precious to him than even money. Tony was under a lot of pressure from the media and his fans on when he was going to release his new book. He couldn’t go anywhere, on or offline without people asking when his new book was going to be released. He cursed the day the director of the reality show suggested he tell the world he was working on a new book. He had become so tensed up and frustrated lately and hadn’t been able to write anything tangible for weeks. The little he wrote had to be done under the influence of alcohol. That had always worked for him in the past, but he had been working seriously on reducing his dependency on alcohol for inspiration. Some times after a great sex session with Judith, he would get inspired to write, but by the next day, he was back to his moody self. Even though he now had two apartments, he rarely stayed at either of them as he was always at Judith’s country home. Sometimes he would lose track of days as he tried to whip up inspiration to write. He always wondered if most people actually understood what writers go through when they are trying to write a great story. Tony had always likened it to suffering from multiple personality disorder, because you always have to be so many people, and write from their perspective. If you are writing about a woman character, you have to think exactly how a woman would think, even if you are a man. And you have to do that with all the multiple characters in your book. That can take a toll on someone. As Ernest Hemingway once said, ‘Writing is easy. You just have to seat at your typewriter and bleed.’ Now he was seated at a celebrity wedding with Judith by his side, nodding and smiling at people he rarely knew. This was one of the toughest parts of his new life. He had a phobia for crowds, and the fact that there were a lot of pretenders here made it even worse. Everyone came to show off their new cars, even though the cars were mostly leased, or cars they had not completed payments for. The way the ladies were showing off large portions of their breasts you would think boobs were on the menu. Fake smiles, fake hair, fake skin, fake facial expressions; everything was so fake it was sickening. Even Judith didn’t like the gatherings, but she always had to show up for business purposes. Today, he was more than prepared for the fakers. He planned to beat them at their fake game. He was in a simple white cotton native attire, but his wrists was heavy; Oyster Perpetual Rolex on one wrist, and 18 carat gold bangle on the other. Even if you knew nothing about precious metals, one look Tony’s wrists would give you the impression that those things had to cost a fortune. He and Judith had also come in his new car, the 2017 BMW I8. He had gotten a 2016 Range Rover from the company handling the reality show, but he decided to spend his own money and he got the new BMW. He saw the effect it had on people at the wedding reception when he and Judith stepped out with the car doors high in the air. As much as he hated showing off, it felt great beating the fakers at their game. A girl’s stare brought his mind back to the present. He had caught a lot of ladies staring over time, but this particular girl caught his attention; the sexual aura she let off was electric. He held the stare for as long as he could, but had to look away when the girl didn’t break. Judith’s hand was wrapped around his as she pretended to be busy on her phone. He gulped down the content of his glass and told Judith he had to go to the toilet as he untangled their hands. A few seconds after he got off his seat, the pretty girl in red did the same. |
The girl looks different in all her pictures. She doesn't look beautiful at all in the picture where she is standing next to the Kia (I guess she was depressed at the time). But she looks really pretty when she is handing over the crown. Hmm! |

Daeveed:Thanks for all the ginger and motivation. I would really just love to sit down and finish the book one time, but it really takes me like a whole day to write a chapter, and you know how Nigeria is right now...Time is money. |

chrisj2:No they won't be ready by xmas. As per prices of these birds, it changes yearly. Broilers were selling for 2k5-3k last year. I think old layers are really cheaper...about 1k5. And as for Noilers, I don't know, cos this is my first time rearing Noilers, and I have never seen them in the market before this year. But I am guessing a mature Noiler should sell for 2k or more. |
chrisj2:Noilers reach maturity between 3-4 months, while Broilers reach maturity between 2-3 months. |
chrisj2:Hmm! You do have a point there. I have two sets of Noilers...51 each...the first set are 9 weeks, and the second set are 4 weeks. Apart from Vitamins I give them once in a while, I don't give them any drugs at all. And they as healthy as ever. As long as you can keep Noilers living environment clean, they don't really need much drugs. |
EMMAACHILE:In fact, the thing tire me. Noilers sabi waste food ehn! Instead of just eating the thing, they will be scattering it. And they can poo ehn! Poo in their water...poo in the food...poo everywhere. And they can fear ehn! When they reach like 4 weeks...any small unusual sound like this, na stampede. I just like them cos they never die. Even if they are very sick, they will not die. |
Thanks guys...I just got a Tecno P5 for a good amount from someone that read my post on here. Thread closed. |

Chapter 7 Tony stood up from where he was sitting in the grass and dusted dirt off his jeans. A smile appeared on his face as he hugged Sade and said, “Good to see you here.” He kept the smile on his face as his mind raced. As a matter of fact, she was the last person he wanted to see at a time like this. “Sorry guys. I just really had to tell Judith something.” Sade said as she stood nervously in the middle of Tony and Judith, looking from one to the other. “Why didn’t you pick my call?” She said as she playfully hit her friend on the head with her iPhone and sat beside her in the grass. “I couldn’t just stand there. I didn’t know you guys were gonna kiss.” Sade said between giggles and Judith laughed a little. “You’ve been here all along?” Tony said and Sade nodded at him. “She was upstairs binge watching Scandal.” Judith said and pressed her friend’s nostrils together till Sade started to make funny sounds. Tony laughed a little at the fact that what he saw was hilarious, and because he couldn’t believe the two of them could be cool together. Of course they had known each other before he ever got in the picture, but the fact that he had actually had intimate relations with both of them made him feel they would hate each other. His eyes fell on Sade as the two girls engaged in quiet chit-chat. She had on a white camisole and her charcoal grey wool skirt looked really short from where she sat. Her spotless caramel complexioned laps were in full glare. Tony found himself staring and he slowly looked away. He took some deep breaths and channeled his thoughts elsewhere. He remembered the wise old man on his street telling him, “Tony, pleasure has no limit, but sometimes you have to know when to look the other way. Think chess, not checkers with every move you make.” This was definitely a time to make that chess move, Tony thought to himself. “Solomon the great?” Judith shouted out and it derailed Tony’s train of thought. “Solomon the great? Who the heck is that?” Tony said as he wondered who the girls were talking about. “That’s…That’s…never mind. Tony, I got to return this call.” Judith said as she hurriedly got up from where she was sitting. She pulled Sade along as she ran towards the house. Sade looked back at him and waved with a warm smile on her face. He stood there and watched the two of them run off like teenage girls that were scared their parents were going to get home before them. Tony was in no mood to go back into the house, so he sat back on the grass and watched as the big yellow Sun dropped lower and lower behind Judith’s humongous mansion. He thought of the fact the Sun rarely moved but it was actually the earth’s orbit on its axis that made it seem to the human eye that the sun rises and sets every day. After a while of aimless thoughts, he lay down on the grass and just cleared his mind of all thoughts, or at least he tried to do that. He was slipping into nothingness when he felt someone in front of him. He opened his eyes immediately. “Oops! Sorry. I hope I didn’t mean to scare you.” A petite looking lady with braids on said. “I was actually looking for Ayo.” She added as she sat down beside him. Air got caught in her gown and it appeared like a pumpkin. She laughed a little as she adjusted her gown. He laughed a little before saying, “Hey Bukkie, what’s up?” He looked around and added, “I haven’t seen him in a while.” She smiled at him before saying, “Good to see you’re okay.” “Thanks.” “When I saw those guys in front of your house…” She was saying and stopped for a second as the smile on her face got replaced by a blank stare. “…It looked like they were ready to kill.” “Yea.” Tony said as the scene from the chaos at his house flashed back in his mind. “Thanks. Ayo said you were the one that informed him about it.” “Yes…enough about that. Ayo told me about the Reality Show.” “Oh yea, I actually just heard about that.” “Really? I had the impression you had already started filming.” “Nope!” “Okay. I am sure it would be great. Judith is such a great method actress.” Tony had a puzzled look on his face when he said, “Method actress?” “Yea, she’s great. She never breaks out of character when she gets a role.” Bukkie said all excited. “She once went to live in a remote village for three weeks with no cash on her, just to get into character.” When Tony didn’t say anything, Bukkie continued. “And one time she…Oops! That’s Ayo. I guess he is also looking for me.” She got up from the grass, and was heading towards the house before she turned around and said, “Aren’t you coming.” “No. I think I’ll sit hear a little while longer.” Tony said and she waved at him with a smile on her face before hurrying along. “I have some things to ponder on.” He said in a low voice. |
specialson11:lol! Sorry for the delay. It is here now. |
willian10:I just switched to Top Feeds yesterday when I wasn't getting good results with Hybrid. Yea, they would be ready by Christmas. At least, experts say they take between 12-16 weeks to reach maturity. Mine will be 16 weeks by christmas. Can you post pictures of yours? |
I will keep this post alive for the next five years till I achieve this goal. Wish me luck. ![]() |
