id2019: go to any Nearest Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel branch Around you. its the best place you can worship Funny thing I am seeing this. I just left Winners Chapel at Ojoo some minutes ago. Men! I regret going there. What a boring church with a boing pastor. The man was just reading Bible passages throughout the service. He couldn't even tell any stories or put some ajasa. And I went there cos I have listened to some of Oyedapo's sermons in the past and enjoyed them, so I thought people under him would be as interesting. |

sunnyeinstein: I cant remember Awolowo doing something wrong... remember it was war time and he was fighting for his fatherland (that is if you are tlkin abt the civil war oo). Ojukwu did worse! Thank u o! But the ipob people keep saying awolowo killed them with starvation. I just wonder... why would u want the person u are fighting to keep supplying you food while your bombing his land. That doesn't make sense at all. |

AnonyNymous: The 1966 Nigerian coup d'état began on January 15, 1966 when mutinous Nigerian soldiers led by Kaduna Nzeogwu assassinated 11 senior Nigerian politicians and two soldiers as well as kidnapping three others. The coup plotters attacked the cities of Kaduna , Ibadan , and Lagos while also blockading the Niger and Benue River within a two-day span of time before the coup plotters were subdued. ***** That's what I saw on the Wikipedia page, and I just recently read China Achebe's 'There was a country'. Explain Ifeajuna's major role to me, Achebe didn't really put him into any relevance in the book Achebe was an Igbo author. What do u expect? It is not like he was in the military or a politician at the time. |

logica: Just to be clear; Awolowo betrayed NOBODY. Awolowo was preparing to have a meeting with Ojukwu to find a solution without violence when he found out Ojukwu had launched at attack on Benin and heading for Lagos. Who in his right senses will form an alliance with such an impulsive soldier? So no, if anybody was betrayed, it was Awolowo. I know. Thanks for pointing that out for them. I said that because they believe so much that Awolowo betrayed them. |

Rednaxelot:
The same person that dinned and winned with the family during the day, went at night to kill the pillars of the family.
Little wonder he was killed and maimed after death.
What else can be a better definition of a traitor than Nzeogwu. Yet, his kinsmen will come here to call Yoruba people Traitors. Don't mind them. This is worse than anything they believe Awolowo did. |
