Nicogen4us: Y? I understand why you have to sell at that price, and I might have tried buying some if you were in Ibadan, but honestly, it won't pay me. Apart from transporting them, there won't be much gain on my side when I have to sell to market women. You know how these market women price chickens in Ibadan. I guess this is because there are too many people doing poultry here, and market is kind of saturated. |

emmybiz: Am into broiler production but want to invest on noiler .Please, how long does it take noiler to mature for table size 3-4 months for the males. But the issue is that a box usually contains 25 males and 25 females, and the females are like pullets/layers, and you can't sell them at the price you would sell the males. |

Nacre1: Good day Nairalanders, please I need help from experienced farmers in the house. I have 300 broilers. Firstly, they don't grow @ 1week +, they look like 1day old(see pix below) . I don't know what could be the problem. Secondly, 80% of the birds have black litter stucked to their vent (as seen in the pix) . You see them moving around healthy, b4 I come back, I will meet 2 or 3 dead. I had this particular problem with some cockerels I am raising. They were just 5, so I didn't want to waste money on treating it. One died, and the reaming three kept eating and growing, till one day, the thing was gone. I wonder what it is. |

Within a space of 7 days, my smartphone got stolen, and my laptop packed up...and many other small things happened that I can't talk about here. My laptop and my smartphone are the two major things I work with. And then I have been having issues getting my line back, cos my wallet was also stolen, and it contains all my forms of Identifications. To even get another form of identification, you need a form of identification. lol! Ain't that funny. Anyway, now I have to travel down to Lagos from Ibadan to get my original birth certificate, which I would use to get a national identification card, which I would then use to get my line back. 1 Like |

jfkenny: How much do u normally sell male Noilers.. In Ibadan, market women were buying them for 900 Naira, but when I took them to Lagos, I sold most of them to market women for 1,400. Please note that they were not at full size when I sold them. They get to monstrous size at about 4-5 months, but I usually sell off at 2 and the half weeks or 3 months. |
