Nigerian singer/actor/politician, Banky W has advised Nigerian returnees from Coronavirus affected countries to adhere to the FG’s directives and self isolate themselves for 14 days. Banky W took to his twitter handle to make the call. According to the singer, it is very possible to be infected with Coronavirus without having any symptoms, so the preferred thing to do is to isolate oneself for 14 days to prevent further spread of the virus. He tweeted: “For Nigerians arriving from affected countries, PLEASE obey the authorities instructions & self-isolate for 14 days. Please. It’s not about whether you feel ill or not. It’s possible to have the virus & not feel any symptoms. Nigerian talented songstress, Simisola Ogunleye better known as Simi has shouted on the FG to close down the borders, which came after news that the third case of COVID-19 has been verified in Nigeria. The “Joromi” singer who spoke using her official Twitter page further added that why the FG is yet to take the preventive measure. The singer made the call following public outcry on the federal government that a ban should be placed on flights from nations with high number of cases of the Coronavirus. Talented singer from defunct popular Psquare music band, Mr P has responded to the previous pipeline explosion which ravaged peoples’s lives and properties in Abule Ado, Amuwo Odofin L.G.A of Lagos State. Residence of Lagos woke up to the tragic update about a pipeline explosion that happened at the Abule-Ado area in Phase 2, around Festac town. The pipeline explosion reportedly rocked close towns and brought out a massive fire that scattered properties including a girls boarding school known as Bethlehem Girls Catholic School. The “Ebeano” singer took to his instagram account sharing scenes of the blast, call out organizations and people to aid save many lives as soon as possible. Peter Okoye also disclosed that he is willing to throw helping hands at the affected girls secondary school in anyway he can. He captioned: “In the last couple of hours, having seen videos and sent messages about the explosion in Abule Ado, Amuwo Odofin LGA. My heart bleeds and I hope the first responders were able to get there on time.” “I’m particularly concerned about the students of the Bethlehem Girls Catholic School that’s been ravaged by this unfortunate incident.
