sorry bro.may be you were posted to a unit or department that doesn't favour you.There are many units you can serve that you won't even think of leaving the job. I have seen many other ranks (or what do you call them self? )that are living big. still you can look for posting to unit or department that suits you or you resign. But if you want to resign i advice you to plan for something to do before moving on.
