Hausa and Yoruba communities in Anambra State have endorsed the governorship candidate of Action Alliance (AA), Ozo Jeff Nweke for November 8 poll, vowing to deliver him.
The communities at a media rally tagged ‘Meet Jeff’ held in Awka, State capital, recalled how Nweke has being protecting them for years even as the community offered the Muslims land to build a mosque since 40 years ago.
Speaking at the occasion, the leader of Yoruba community, Alhaji Kehinde Alade and Youth leader of Hausa community, Alhaji Husein Magaji vowed to mobilise their natives residing across Anambra State to vote for AA.
Magaji said, “He means a lot to Hausa community. He responds to our problems. Any time we call him he responds. He brings food to Hausa community during fasting period."
Also speaking, a native of Awka, Ozo Akubilo argued that it was turn of his people to produce the next governor of Anambra State and Jeff Nweke remains the best candidate they could offer given to his antecedents and humanitarian services.
In a remark, the State Chairman of AA, Hon. Norbert Okoli assured Anambra residents that the party would provide the needed development they deserve through Jeff Nweke as according to him, he would uphold rule and law and allow businesses to thrive.
Earlier speaking, the governorship candidate of AA, Ozo Jeff Nweke said his government, if voted to power, would stabilise the state economy, revive the security, improve infrastructure and create employments to better people lives.
"I will improve the State security with provisions of modern equipment, training and retraining, intelligence gathering. Don't vote for those who cannot secure you. If you vote for me, you will never regret it because I don't have sponsor. The masses, civil servants, traders, all of you are my sponsors. I will never let you down. I will run an open door policy," he added.

BlackViper: The National Youth President of Afenifere, Eniola Ojajuni, has backed Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre for describing the Yoruba as “fearful” and the Igbo as “courageous.”
Ojajuni described the cleric’s comment as “accurate,” advising that Yoruba people must begin to speak up instead of clinging to the “I no wan die” mentality.
The cleric, while delivering a sermon at his church as seen in a video circulating on social media, said fear was the root problem of the Yoruba race.
He described fear as a crippling trait that had held many Yoruba people back from achieving greatness, adding that they must break free from the grip of fear.
The pastor said, “Yoruba people, there is a problem with the Yoruba race. Even the ones that are 48 years old. There is a problem with your race, and it is called fear. Life bows for the courageous. Life works against the fearful, I am saying it so that from a young age, destroy it.”
Pastor Idowu contrasted the Yoruba with the Igbo ethnic group, praising the Igbo for their boldness and influence around the world.
“That is why I love the Igbo. They are fearless. There is no country in this world where you will not see an Igbo man. But in Yoruba culture, careful, careful; what is careful, man dies only once,” he said.
He encouraged the congregation, especially the youth, to cast off fear and embrace courage as a pathway to overcoming limitations and achieving success in life.
Reacting to the cleric’s comment in an interview with Saturday PUNCH, Ojanuni said the pastor was right, adding that Yoruba forefathers did well when it came to speaking for the betterment of the country. Related News

The Afenifere youth leader claimed that Yoruba people were afraid to come forward and openly express what they want.
He said, “If Yoruba people in Nigeria were as bold or courageous as those clamouring for a Yoruba nation in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, we would have got Yoruba nation. Why is it that we in Nigeria cannot do the same? A Yoruba adage says, ‘A man should be found in a courageous position.’
Ojajuni also backed Pastor Bolaji’s claim about the fearlessness of the Igbo people, adding that the Yoruba often betray themselves.
He said, “If you look at the Igbos, 60 per cent of them are with Nnamdi Kanu and their leaders. This is because they want Biafra. The Yorubas should come out too. The monarchs, who are the custodians of Yoruba tradition, should come out and talk at the roundtable to discuss whether the current system is working for the Yoruba or not.”
Meanwhile, the Lagos-based cleric has faced criticism over his remarks, which some have perceived as disparaging to the Yoruba race.

lovediehatelive: So I use to pluck moringa leaf from a tree close to a house I was staying to make tea.
Things were going smoothly and I loved it because it makes me relax without getting addicted.
There are several ways I could relax, but most of them especially things to take have a very dangerous[b] side effect: ADDICTION.[/b]
this is why I opted for moringa as the tea makes me feel well and grounded and helps me concentrate.
Things changed when I moved. I couldn't get any moringa tree around to pluck the leafs, and I just tried to forget about it.
My mind was off it totally when one day I mistakenly stumbled upon a thread on nairaland talking about the benefits of moringa, something I already knew. I was mistakenly going through the comments when someone said you can easily get it online or supermarket.
Supermarket? I mistakenly thought of it and decided to give it a try. It won't be fresh, but let me try it. I mistakenly went to the supermarket and mistakenly asked for moringa. I was shown the section for tea and beverages and I mistakenly went there to look for it.
I didn't see moringa and I mistakenly looked well until I saw a packet written moringa.
I mistakenly picked it up, and saw that it was actually green tea and moringa. Instead of me to drop it, I mistakenly took it, thinking that the moringa covers for the green tea.
I haven't taken green tea, but I've heard of it. I mistakenly didn't consider the side effects, and I mistakenly bought the green tea disguised as moringa.
This was where my woes started. I mistakenly made the green tea moringa tea, and mistakenly drank it.
The taste was somehow, but not too bad. I felt alert and sharp, my memory clear and awesome.
I could remember things very clearly and my focus was sharp.
But I didn't know that I mistakenly started something that would have effect on me.
I wasn't looking forward to slimming down, I only wanted moringa tea to help me focus.
At first I felt clarity of mind and highly alert, but that was it. Any little thing, I quickly noticed and responded. Seems like I could hear ants walking, little details and sounds were very clear to me.
This was bad for me. The noise from moving cars, loud music, generator noise and noisy people around made it counter effective.
This wasn't the kind of clarity I wanted.
Actually want I needed was focus not total clarity. For me to be kinda numb to the world around and highly focused on things around me, the particular thing I'm attending to at the moment.
But I mistakenly took green moringa tea and it made me really light. My head was lighter than our current transparent black nylon.
Any little noise triggers me. I became restless and irritable.
Night sleep? Gone
Focus? Gone
Steeze? Reduced drastically.
Instead of me to stop at first try, I mistakenly took the green moringa tea again, and again, until...
It now seems like all my flesh are gone and like they use spoon to scrape what's remaining, just like how I usually scrap off burnt rice from the bottom of delicious jollof rice back then.
What do I do? I don't want to mistakenly continue, I want my focus back.
My steeze restored.
My peaceful night sleep restored.
How do I counter this effect fast the natural way without substance that causes addiction?
