Mrs Betsy Obaseki accused Senator Monday Okpebholo of being wifeless, only for Adams Oshiomole to respond by accusing the Obasekis of being childless and having no love for children.

If they have no children, how does it affect Adams Oshiomole?

In addition, what exactly was Adams Oshiomole's business in an attack that was not directed at him? Did Monday Okpebholo tell anyone he was mute? Adams Oshiomole needs to start conducting himself like a responsible and educated elder and leave gutter behaviour to "gutterians". In addition, Asue Ighodalo has few days to prove that he is running this race and not being propelled by Obaseki who in the last weeks, has caused more damage to Asue's campaign with unguarded statements like saying election was do or die and threatening Nigeria would burb. As I said, it seems as if Adams Oshiomole and Godwin Obaseki are fighting for the soul of Edo State. They have spoken more in the last weeks than their two candidates. They have spread more poison than nobility with their utterances. So far, only Olumide Akpata does not seem to be tied to the apron strings of a political verbal warlord. There has also been no controversy from their end. I wish they had the financial wherewithal to campaign in all nooks and crannies of Edo State.

It is because APC and PDP see themselves as the behemoths that they start trading insults and personal attacks.

What exactly are their talking points for the development of Edo State? No one knows! Their attacks have gained more traction than their plans. Do they even have sensible plans? Edo State has a vast forest of arable land. Just cultivate the land and feed your people. How hard is that? They have a fertilizer plant as I heard, why is it not producing? Lucky Igbinedion started Edo City Transport Service which his successor killed. Today, transportation is a problem. Water supply is still a big problem, but no solutions in sight. Politics and religion are now the biggest businesses while industries died.

This should make every Edo indigene sad!

Anyway, Edo State has shown us that they can't be controlled or bullied by human beings when it comes to deciding who to follow. They slapped Adams Oshiomole a bitter lesson in 2020 when he campaigned against someone he promoted in 2016 and promoted someone in 2020 he had campaigned against in 2016. They'd vote for the best person they feel can move their state forward. If Oshiomole was so good in leadership recruitment, how come the best person he put forward in 2016 was a warrior?

Obaseki performance will affect the chances of pdp by sixty percent, that is how governoship election is determined in Edo and obaseki has failed in that regard. Pdp is not united going into the election. Apc in federal will not even have more than twenty percent negative influence for the party in the state. Oshiomole performances made Obaseki to be governor even when some politicians were not in support of Obaseki. Leave those emotional nzogbu nzogbu guys who played politics of bitterness and hatred.

stop lying. No governor has impacted so much on education like Obaseki's government. His human capital development is top notch and among the very best in Nigeria. His civil service reform has been a reference point. He rebuilt and built several healthcare facilities and fixed most of the general hospitals in the state. He has constucted more rural roads than any past governors of the state.

He founded a new polytechnic in Igarra, rebuild the state colledge of Education, colledge of Health and revamped Edo state polytechnic, Usen. He also built Edo state University teaching hospital at Auchi, revamped most of the lecture halls at Ambrose Ali University.

He maintained up to date salary payments to civil servants and pensioners. He started 70k minimum wage before any state government or federal government could.

His only undoing was not touching the federal roads in Edo state.

Which area in Auchi did he built the teaching hospital. He didn't construct or rehabilitated the other dilapidated public schools under his tenure. Oshiomole brought red roof revolution on many public schools and the emperor could built upon it. Is intervention to Ambrose alli university is not to write home about. He so much increased the school fees and many students drop out. Obaseki is a failure and come next Saturday, his candidate will be defeated.
