He is from my local government and we fought for him to become house of rep under labour. Obaseki only project in my LGA was just a road of less than 5km in this second term. He taught he can decieve us with illegal DG and a campus of the state polytechnic in usen close to Okada town just three months ago to vote for pdp candidate who will also not come close to the LGA till re election. Oshiomole gave us projects across all the ward of our LGA. The NDDC through the minister of niger delta who Oshiomole nominated as the state minister gave a town a standard road early this year and Obaseki promised them to construct the road during his re election but didn't. We pay good for good and evil for evil, that is how we operate. No sentiment about it.

What is now the benefit of his so called reform in education when no public school was celebrated from the state in national recognition. Schools were not built. Many public schools lack adequate teachers. The state own Ambrose Alli university fees was increased astronomically that many students couldn't pay. He closes college of agriculture situated in ovia for more than four years under the guise of total reconstruction and he only build Little building close to the school that he now opened when there were questions been asked by Edolite. He didn't pay staff salaries in those times.

In an event, he received a handshake from other governors, Obaseki rebuffed him.

Asue parades his self as chairman of many group, yet he could not influence any on them to the state. Sterling bank has no single branch in his senatorial district. As chairman of Edo state economic team for eight years, what did he attract to the state. Him and Obaseki uses their investment portfolio Afri invest to loot our resources. Some government agency they turn them to private. Edo specialist hospital built by Oshiomole around ringroad is now operating under private. Patient buy card for 5k, pay between 5k to 10k to see a consultant doctor and if it ended with operation, the patient is meant to pay 5k for hand gloves for the use of the doctor outside the drug to purchase and this are happening in the hospital built by Edo money. Bye November many of them will give way definitely. They will follow Obaseki back to Lagos. Restoration and posperity will begin. My greatest happiness is to stop him from getting assess to the state treasury again from November.

When Oba of Benin called Oshiomole, Obaseki, Ize-Iyamu and Shaibu to make peace in 2020, only Obaseki attempted to gloat that he was the chief security officer of Edo State, and the Oba asked him to keep quiet as he was uninterested in hearing Obaseki's rantings.

Obaseki fought too many persons and even the palace became a factor in the politics.

Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama was seen in a video when he decamped saying he'd deliver Oredo to APC. Ogbeide-Ihama had relinquished his PDP ticket to Obaseki in 2020 only for Obaseki to fight him for control.
