SuperEagles:
And what exactly is wrong with moving to APC?
-Did we not see how Obi as been moving from frying pan to fire all in the name of looking for a party ?!
you can't compare kwankwanso with obi who rode on religious sentiment to gain those votes in 2023 and most of the votes are gone. Kwankwanso has over the years got organic support and he is the deciding factor of Kano state. I trust Tinubu to make an acceptable offer that he will take. I know he will never support Atiku to become president. He even came second behind buhari in 2014 APC presidential primaries and Atiku came third. He is the a one term beggar.

Wike always portraying himself as holier than thou. It’s only those that don’t know him will believe the venom he is spitting.
A wise man will attack the message not the messenger. All what Wike said about Atiku and Tambuwal are very true. Some of the Northerners always think they will be dictating political happenings in Nigeria but they have met thier match in Tinubu and Wike. I just laugh people who think Tinubu won't be reelected again. He knows how to get it. I'd igbos like, let them go and support Atiku but they should not cry in 2039 when power returns to south and they are not favoured. You don't plant maize and harvest yam.

lolz
u have zero knowledge of what played out
Wike was the one that said the ticket should be thrown open.
he thought he had all the governors backing him and he could use rivers state money to buy all delegates. Atiku specifically ask them to micro zone it to south east since APC may likely go to south west and he will step aside but Wike clearly said the ticket should be thrown open. Atiku and tambuwal served him breakfast grin baba started begging for VP slot. Atiku told them no and settled for okowa, and then wike started barking
At the end, who now lose. Atiku will never become president and Wike stand the chance of becoming vice president in 2031. Tinubu will surely win. South south will produce the next vice president. Wike sustain pdp when others like obi abadanoned the party when Jonathan lost and unfortunately rivers state money was used by him. Today Wike is a powerful figure and a superb FCT minister. He will continue to work against Atiku. ADC mostly consist Atiku loyalist and friends in pdp and very few APC and so is still a lose on his side cos pdp is divided and Wike loyalist which are more will end up supporting Tinubu again.

Ask him did democracy worked in anambra when obi failed to conduct local government election for over seven years. Doctors went on strike for thirteen months and school fees was increased astronomically and when Anambaraians protested, he simply told them education is not meant for the poor. Obi will continue to labour in vain.

I like what Tinubu did in River state he gives room for opposition party to use someone to cause problem in Lagos and declare state of emergency by choosing one Ugochukwu as a sole administrator from Anambra state. That will give them the opportunity to collect Lagos and all her revenue from Tinubu then they will understand the implication of what has happened . I trust karma
Igbos have been crying since even when rivers indigenes have moved on. This is same thing you guys did when Jonathan lost power and started insulting yorubas and Northerns but today you guys are crying for presidency and obi your brother is busy begging for one term presidency. Keep taking Panadol on someone headache.

Wike is a force any day and anytime cos obi won't have paid him visit three times and was even ready to sacrifice the then labour party candidate if Wike support him. That was a desperation taken too far. Obi should better go And sit down cos igbo presidency will never happen in 2027 but possible in 2039. North and south west won't leave Tinubu and Atiku and vote obi the religious and tribal bigot. Jonathan stand a far better chance.
PoliticsRe: Kaduna: Development Touching Every Corner Under Gov. Uba Sani -elder Rabiu Bako by kedeojo(m): 2:04pm On Sep 18, 2025
PanAfricanNEWS:
STATEMENT -18/9/2025

Kaduna state has found its true identity; not in the cry of infrastructure not distributed evenly, not in promotion of disunity —but in rebuilding the trust of the people.
The reconstruction of the Jaba–Kwoi Township Roads the groundbreaking of the Rigasa Township Road and the 17km Kayarda road in Lere only within the last 7 days are not just projects — they are symbols of fairness, equity, and balanced development under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani.

What is even more electrifying is the thunderous reception he recently received in Jaba, Lere and Rigasa, where thousands poured out with joy and excitement to welcome him. This is no ordinary show of love — it is a resounding declaration that the people of Kaduna State stand firmly with their governor.

Amidst all the noise, distractions, and political scheming, one truth shines bright: Uba Sani remains the people’s choice, the people’s voice, and the undisputed leader of Kaduna State. His vision is clear, his mission is unstoppable, and his bond with the people grows stronger every day. Further, It is evidently clear with other reforms he's doing that includes making transportion literally free —following the purchase of 100 CNG transit vehicles for civil servants and students at a subsidized rate so as to cushion the high cost of transportion. These reforms are few amongst many others..

The message from Jaba to Rigasa to Lere and all across the state is loud and clear —Kaduna belongs to all, and under Uba Sani, development will touch every corner. The movement is alive, the people are united, and the governor’s mandate remains unshakable!

Mohammed Rabiu Bako
-Senior Citizen and Elderstateman,
Kaduna State.
Am not surprised. Go and look his background. Religious crisis has become past. Insecurity has drastically reduced. He will deliver any candidates under APC in Kaduna. El rufai was a bigot. I never like him when he became governor cos he was just a religious fanatic but he did well as FCT minister back then. Up till date, his son is still in APC and he has stop calling Tinubu OTP. He knows is father is now a paperweight in Kaduna politics.

Dangote would have frustrated them how exactly? BUA and Lafarge are currently manufacturing and selling cement in Nigeria, has Dangote impeded their operations? When did Dangote become the Nigerian government?

Una go dey carry politics enter everything huh.
Not politics but tribalism. Most of this guys are igbos who are angry of another tribe success. Arthur Eze the richest igbo said it openly how IBB made him. He owns an oil well in south south region. Unlike Dangote who aim to put Nigeria in global oil refinery perspective, authur Eze is simply building a hotel in Enugu airport. Why will his tribemen not be mad. Late ifeanyi ubah was the biggest importer of pms under Jonathan all through his government but couldn't build a modular refinery. Same with AA Rano under buhari but they were the ones and others who were shortchanging the country through subsidy.

In an era where transformative investments are rare and the challenges facing the oil sector are many, the Dangote Refinery stands out as a beacon of ambition and commitment. Let us celebrate those who dare to invest. The Dangote Refinery’s odyssey is a testament to what can be achieved when vision and courage cohabit for the greater good. The Unions have been milking us without a single investment in the industry since Humpty Dumpty fell from the wall. They should learn to lick their wounds. When you put corn in your mouth you shut it. They should take a cue from how Glo busted MTN’s bubble way back. If yams are left where a goat can access them, responsibility for the outcome does not rest with the goat.
I don't blame them cos the Tinubu didn't give 100% support to Dangote and just like how Obasanjo fought Adenuga from using his glo to compete with mtn. Today mtn is milking Nigerians. Adenuga was discouraged and that is why he didn't bother to further upgrade glo. He is still making his money but nigerians are now at the recieving end of mtn exploitation thanks to Obj. Same Obj, killed the nitel and his mcel brand then, a suppose government property just because of lifetime shares he is getting from mtn.

NUPENG accusing Dangote of monopoly is a first class joke in there buffet of foolery. This guy's practically held the country blockus for decades coming up with threats upon threats of strike, scarcity or any strategy possible so as to milk funds from the poor masses. They monopolized the sector and turn there to there play ground. Can you imagine, they are now accusing Dangote that came on board just few months ago of monopoly? Wonderful!!
And we still have some fools supporting them here just because Dangote is not from their places. Let them team up and build their own refinery too.

No, in free economy like the America, they do not practice free market system. We are too poor for that. Govt regulates essential goods and services. Even in America, the govt still provide fuel subsidy. If not, anybody can wake up and sell fuel 2k dollars for a litre.

Nigeria has its peculiar problems that is diff from what is obtainable all over.
The work of every govt is to checkmate demand and supply, price regulation across boards through their various depts that deal with it. Everywhere around the world.

Textbook economics is diff from economics in reality.
You can check out the disadvantages of free market economy. That's why no economy, even US that very close to that practice it 100%.
Nigeria couldn't sustain fuel subsidy simply because the importers and top government officials and even to a large extend president shortage Nigeria. How come from Obasanjo time till now, government couldn't build even just a brand new refinery.

How can someone who is not an importer of petrol benefit from fuel subsidy scam?
He is just an illiterate. The late ifeanyi ubah was the biggest importer of pms under Jonathan likewise AA Rano under buhari. Dangote has never been an oil marketer cum importer. Igbos are just too bitter when someone from another zone is doing better than them because they pride themselves as the best business people which is actually not. Most of this guys don't know the difference between a trader and an industrialist.

Upon the hundreds of billions of dollars they made from fuel subsidy from 1993 to 2023, that is for 30 years. The fuel importers could not save and build a refinery.

Whereas Dangote did not benefit from the fuel subsidy scam
They were living luxury lifestyle. We all saw how ifeanyi ubah lived then and when buhari came , he favoured others and he was not importing again and all of a sudden before his death, he was enmeshed with series of debt. It is applicable to many of others too. All president since the collapse of the country refineries deliberately didn't fix them to work. They will allocate a large sum of money for turnaround which can start to build a fresh one and loot the money.. Those importers are also remit to the president and top government functionary. Tinubu is also doing same thing too in regards to turnaround of the refinery. You can't be selling crude in dollars and also allocating quarter of Dangote refinery need and when sourced abroad and also paid in dollar and you expect him to sell cheap.

..why should they seize..? grin grin

..if tthey should cease the opportunity..Dangote would have frustrated it..Dangote couldn't have built that refinery without the loans from FG..

..maybe the Petroleum marketers should have ceased some loans to build one..

grin grin
The late ifeanyi ubah was importing 50% of pms to Nigeria under Jonathan government and also others but didn't want to build a refinery cos they were making a lot of money through subsidy that obi even called organize crime but Dangote came to the rescue. Ndume is very correct. Only you igbos are not agreeing to him since he doesn't align with your interest. Over twenty nigerians were given refinery licenses but no one build. People like Arthur Eze the richest igbo decided to build an hotel in Enugu airport. Dangote is a blessing to Nigeria. The power and steel sector has not received serious private attention and when Dangote enter and use his magic and intellect to turnaround then, same you and your bitter people will still wail. Audio billionaires region.

After collecting money from various people, they will now be doing fire brigade approach, if you want to know the kind of nonsense going on in Lagos under this Tinubu's APC, just go to any street even the one in the remotest part of Lagos and see if any building project that starts does not immediately get a notice from the government, then you begin to wonder how they knew someone just started building a house there in less than a week.

That's why I laugh anytime they say people who spent millions of naira for years building their houses did not get approval or the government was not aware that they were building something on that spot, a very big lie, there is no building construction going on in Lagos state that the government is not aware.
what you fail to understand is that, many officials recieve bribe from the owners of building and when there is problem, the government came with the hard step. Opposite my house was sealed by government officials for building without approval but just after two days the ribbon and padlock was removed. The owner is someone who is so stingy that he don't even contribute to normal meetings and I am very sure he will bribe the people that came with some money and don't go to the office. Government can do everything and let even Nigerians be upright.

Nigeria currently operates an open market where investment prospects are open to all and sundry, so if other billionaires will rather sit and watch Dangote milk the opportunities, then it's in no one's place to lament about monopoly.
We should even praise him for his massive investment in Nigeria. Most billionaires invested outside the country.

you are right cos obi should start practicing what he preaches. He should begin to partner with those companies he import thier product to Nigeria as sole distribution which he used is then office as chairman of tincan under abacha. He can't be president and so he should channel his energy about becoming an industrialist. I laugh those people who think been a trader has more effect to be an industrialist. What Dangote contribute to Lagos economy and employment wise can be matched by all the trading zone in Lagos. They are just noise maker. 70% of those so called traders in Lagos are making their money from crime not the shops. Only few are actually making it big over there. I have been to alaba, computer village and ladipo severally. Most of those shop owner don't have goods worth 5m and no matter the years of business legally, they will just be doing fine but not super rich. I know many igbos in my street in mainland before I left there, they are just ok not so rich like you have some who will pack an expensive ride. One even told me how is neighbor shop was sealed cos he was using it as also drug storage.
