The best brains hardly go into education willingly.Teachers are treated as lowlifes and people who are not deserving of honor and the pay?dont even go there..aw can we continually complain d standard of education is dwindling and teachers are nt encouraged.We will end up complaining and get no meaningful progress.Gone r those days wen pple go into teaching cos of d passion,only very few do that these days.The best brains strive to be absorbed by the best companies.I say without reservation that the teaching professional has lost its glory.The education sector needs to be salvaged*takes a bow*

let me use this medium to pour out my mind..I had 3 interviews with KPMG,passed all 3 interviews but was surprised to get called for a 4th interview.I did well @ d 4th interview to d best of my ability but got d shock of my life wen i got called a month later dat my interview didnt go well..all things being equal,i was supposed to resume in audit(financial services) unit.my high hopes were dashed.I read chemical engineering in sch anyways with a very good result.just wishn all prospective aspirants d best of luck

The Teachers council is not totally correct!some corp members r far better than some teachers in secondary schools.wait a minute!do these so called council executives supervise their teachers in public secondary schools periodically..these teachers are only active when d month is winding up...some corpers are naturally gifted teachers.A graduate in education is no better!I've seen a whole lot of them and my heart only sinks for my unborn kids!

@ polipompom I chose MC when i applied initially.When i was filling my graduate trainee form,i also chose MC but had to change it to audit at d point of submission cos i was told MC wasnt available at d moment

@polipompom I think u need to relax.I dont think anyone who chose MC has been contacted.I know of a guy who wrote in august and has gone through the three stages of the interview as well as medicals,though he chose audit.MC is on hold for now.I had to change my unit from MC to audit cos i was told recruitment into MC was on hold when i went for the submission of my graduate trainee form

u're gettimg me confused here..is it an interview or a test cos u mentioned both in ur comment...anyway,the test is basically GMAT.Just prepare for verbal and quantitative.The verbal comprises antonyms,synonyms,critical reasoning and comprehension.The quantitative is high school mathematics...just prepare and get there early..sorry this came late

The question u should answer is'did u apply'.If yes,then dats d reason for d test invite.Its almost certain anyone who applies will be called for a GMAT based test..ur only worry should be passing d test...ciao

afam4eva: What's their business with what goes on inside a school. Shouldn't it be the duty of the universities to determine whether or not they want their students to resit? I think some people are taking lectures from Fashola of Lagos. This law is a draconian law that does not sit well with common sense me.

I wonder if some read their posts before bringing it online.This is a regulatory body for crying out load and yet u say what concerns it with what's going on in a school?I think u were sleeping wen u posted this.....mschewwww

It was a GMAT based test held on the 3rd sept i.e 2days ago.They promised to get back to us, on the results the following day but i'm yet to receive any mail,text or call to that effect even as i type.I'm still hoping.Which section did u choose?

pls is there anyone dat wrote d test of 3rd september,2012..They promised to reach us the following day,4th,but i'm yet to hear anything,not even the results of the test,which is unlike kpmg..anyone in my shoes?

mcstan_18: The test is basically GMAT based(I'm not certain if it's going to be the same this time)- study it very well anyway. Make sure you get to the venue in time so as to enter for the test with a "fresh" head(know what I mean?). Moreso, you just be you- cool, calm & collected. Above all, pray for God's favour. @vavi i applied on august 23rd and chose management consulting.

I got a mail from KPMG inviting me for a GMAT based test for 3rd september 2012 at their headquarters in VI.Is there anyone who got a similar mail cos i'm yet to see something like it on nairaland...
