You are wrong. Majority of Nigerian students in Ukraine are from poor homes. Ukraine being a very poor country need all the foreign currency they can lay their hands on to support their economy. They are not stringent about their admissions, so these attract many Nigerians to come there and study. Also more than half of the students use Ukraine as a stepping stone to cross over to Western Europe.

Children of politicians and those from rich homes seldom go to Ukraine to study.
