these are words of an insane, who cares, |
The opposition candidates were all connected directly or indirectly with OUK, that was the problem, sad anyway ![]() |
Its time for a state of emergency now!!! Sign the PETITION for Abia State online at: http://www.abianvoice.com |
it is only in a banana republic that a criminal dares to step to a microphone to vomit such disgusting rubbish and would not be held for responsibility after all he has done to the nation, when will this country wake up, eh? it is always the same story that that the country must be held together, but must that be done by all means? |
Facts behind the Petition and a call for declaration a STATE of EMERGENCY in ABIA STATE. Fellow citizens of Abia State, brothers and sisters, fellow Nigerians. About a week ago we, the concerned citizens of Abia State in the Diaspora, after months of deliberations and thoughts on the vandalism, anarchy and the rape of the few gains of the nascent democracy in the State since Nigeria returned to Civilian Rule on 29th May 1999, set out to petition the Federal Government of Nigeria under the able leadership of His Excellency Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to institute forthwith a State of Emergency in Abia State in conformity with the powers bestowed on him in the Nigerian Constitution to protect the lives and properties of the citizens in the State. In that Petition the call for declaration of a State of Emergency was supported by the deployment of a Military High Command to take over the administration of the State to halt prevalent kidnapping, armed robbery and murder of honest peace loving citizens in the State, to return sanity and peace to the State. We want to state clearly that a State of Emergency in Abia State should for goodness sake not be mistaken for a Military Coup or take over at the initiative of the Military. A State of Emergency rather is a necessary instrument of governance of a democratic dispensation, in a Federal Republic like Nigeria, for example if there is a catastrophe, anarchy with the break down of law and order, indiscriminate kidnapping, murder of citizens. Most important underlining factor is that the Government of a State is not in a position to restore peace and sanctity to its people. The callous and insidious political whims of a few individuals cannot be allowed to hold Abia State citizens to ransom and in servitude. But this exactly what Abia State has been suffering since 11 years. If a State of Emergency is declared in Abia State by the President it has to pass through the necessary organs of the legislature, namely the House of Reps. and the Senate. The Military High Command, Police and the Security Agencies will do their job on the instructions and directives of Mr. President for the period of time they are deployed there, so there should be no fear of a permanent military occupation. We think is necessary to explain the above facts, knowing too well that the traumata and pains of the past Military Rule are still fresh in our minds. We appeal to all and sundry to sign the PETITION so that it may be sent to Mr. President before October 2010. Thank you for your solidarity with ABIA STATE. Concerned CITIZENS. |
Fellow Nigerians,Sign the Petition here |
yes he`s right, Nigeria is not a failing state, it`s already failed, thus to say Nigeria is a failed state |
and by the way, what about political education first of all!! |
before one thinks of war, how about some real protest? we tend to endure and complain. but where is the initiative? there are some but none is really followed. I often think of countries like Iran, where people have to fear for their lives when they protest. But they do!! From my point of view this is PDP constitutional bullshit is far away from common sense, |
Ohh thats your point?? Nice! |
Hello, I would like to have your comments on the Question of Nigerias Constitution and the influence of Religion. Sometimes I wonder why we call ourselves Democratic, while we have the religious impact of Religion within the Constitution. To make it clear. I myself respect Religion, but thats something personal I think??!! In the constitution it says: E - The Sharia Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.Whats your point to this? |
@poster this should be done worldwide and within, Thank you! |
how can one praise a man that looted and stole from that state?? , |
Nigeria is too addicted to divide, think about that, |
staged? when from time to time innocent citizens are slaughtered, you must be kiddin, |
http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/world/2010/01/10/purefoy.nigeria.quranic.kids.cnn I find the last comment very interesting and disgusting "that one day they will take over the country" |
