obua:
Whats the margin of other cement producers?
What was the margin before the advent of Dangote Cement.
Dangote Cement is actually the only cement firm that periodically reduces price.
Other companies enjoy pioneer status also in other areas of the economy.
Dangote is an African champion and he should be encouraged and not castigated.
People should not sit in the comfort of homes and offices of employment and criticize people who stake their lives in the uncertainty of self employment
pls read about nig eco very well u will understand.

Psoul:
Mine has bn by Grace. When grace is at work protocols are broken, struggle disappears.

I have worked in 3 good firms and have never applied for any one of them not to talk of sending CV.

The 1st was barely wen i left secondary school. A top manager in a multinational company that just established their firm in the state i was called and offered me the job. This manager used to kw me and and hw responsible i was then. The pay was not too fine then, so many ppl refused the offer but few of us accepted it. I was in this firm and obtained my B.Sc in Accountancy. Rose to an enviable position. The firm later became the choice of many. I dis this job for 16yrs. Acquired many certificates in and from this firm.

Second one was an offer made to me by one of my Lecturers in university. I did this job for 4 years.

Third one is this current job as a company Auditor. The job came wen i least expected it. An uncle that had forgotten after many year he promised to help me. I was surprised when he called me and tell me that he want me to attend an interview in a certain company as their Auditor. I was like, Sir, but i did not apply for the job. He just told me to attend the interview on the date he told me.
I went for the written interview. I was shortlisted for oral interview. Out of about 30 of us, only 2 were employed. I happened to be one out of the two. My CV was only submitted on the day of the oral interview.
your third job is called I know person that know person in the organization

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: To Whom It May Concern (why You Need A Good CV & What I've Experienced So Far) by keko14: 7:42am On Jun 30, 2017

In all honesty, the truth is that jobs are scarce but there are technical procedures required to give one an upper edge among others.

The job hunt is a job on its own and the way I've seen it on the field (on a level ground), it is mandatory that one has an outstanding CV, sharp job test skills and sound interview skills as well.

This topic is aimed at guiding people how to draft a good CV and also sharing real life experience as to why many don't get that invite.

So if I may come in, I'll say you start by making research on how to build a good CV by following the tips I gave above... send what you have been able to come up with to good hands to review.

My hands are full now... but if you don't mind send a PM I'll revert in few days.
thank sir, have done that.

That non challant attitude has been a death blow to many over the years. Na God dey help person but some people's CV just be like say dem beg dem to apply for the job, you'll immediately regard them as un serious even if that may not truly be the case.

Howdy?
I try all my best, please sir help me.
Career / Re: How To Handle A Grammarian Boss At The Office? by keko14: 5:19pm On Jun 29, 2017
amliftedhigher:
Good day fellow Nairalanders.

I work in a federal government parastatals in the HR department. My former boss use to give me Kudos each time I present a memo to him to vet. Sometimes he will either see some corrections or he will sign immediately.

But since a new boss came na wahala oh. I will try my best with the help of Oxford dictionary newest edition to present a good memo devoid of grammatical blunder to him still either he cancels the entire write up or he writes his own. And some times when he write his own I will give it to the secretary to type and after that I will present it to him for him to sign but instead of signing it he will cancel it again his own write up oh. Some times I will spend a whole day presenting one memo.

I Am confused now that if there is a memo I will write it any how and then present it to him because no matter how I tried he will do correction.

Fellow Nigerians how do you handle a grammarian boss?
guy please maintain oooo being jobless in Nigeria no b moi moi oooo
