You see the difference between useless RVP and Wayne Rooney? When RVP is playing as a lone striker, he doesn't have the sense to drag the centre defenders away for others to score or attempt. When Rooney plays, chances abounds. This was why RVP never won anything at Arsenal. No one else knew how to score 'cos the hyena blocked them out from the box. If not for SAF amnesty to save RVP trophyess career, he would be at Arsenal with zero trophy and Giroud, Ramsey and co wouldn't lean scoring methods to win trophies. RVP left and they won.

rooney was a lone striker in many seasons and he failed to win it. in 10/11 season, berbatov started getting benched by SAF. he took no penalties & he would have scored more league goals if he had started towards the end of that season.

tevez took 5 penalties for city. berbatov took no penalties for man utd. berbatov was the better striker that season and he was EA sports best player in the league that season.
