My experience as I had my interview today.

First mail said my interview was on 31st. This was from ptdf.

The second was from Microsoft Team on 22nd with the link saying it was on 27th 12:30.

The third came in on 25th saying maintaining 27th as my interview date but changed my time to 10 am.

I did it with my phone on the app already downloaded.

I logged in at 9:55 am and the interview came up at 9:57 am. Along the line, a call came in and disrupted my network. I couldn't reconnect again after trying. So I had to wait until 10:50 am. I sadly logged out and was asking why the person has to call that time.

Since I have another invitation by 12:30 pm, I logged in again at 12:15 pm and was waiting in the lobby. Thank God I got ushered in again and I had my interview this time successfully. It was about 6 minutes.

Questions:
Introduce yourself
Do you want a fully funded or partial funding
What course do you want to study and the relevance in oil and gas.
Pick one problem in your chosen field and how it can be solved.
Do you belong to any professional body?
They also asked me to share the last part of my transcript.

My Advice:
Have a picture of your documents for easy sharing as you can share pdf files.
If you are having multiple dates and time, start your login from the first date and time and wait until about 45 minutes later. If unattended to, login again at a later time and date.

I have multiple dates and time

First i was scheduled for today 3:30pm and 6:15pm. I logged into the Microsoft team app by 3:00pm and waited till 4:30pm. It was only showing when meeting starts, we'll let people know you are waiting in the lobby.
I didn't hear any sound nor see picture of even an ant on my screen so i log out by 4:50pm.

The second time was 6:15pm - 6:25pm. I have been in the Microsoft team app since 6:00pm - 7:00pm. The experience is the same.

The last date is 31/05/2022 by 4:00pm - 4:10pm. I am also waiting for this day to come.

Has anyone been able to do his/her interview virtually?


What is the way forward??

Hi guys,

I did my virtual interview on 23rd and I have the following to say:

My interview date was initially 1st June but on 20th of May, I received a meeting link with a new interview date as 23rd May by 7pm. However my portal had the time as 5pm

To be on the safe side, I tried joining the meeting from 5pm till 6pm but couldn't as teams kept displaying a message *that the meeting hasn't started*. By exactly 7pm, I clicked on the link and was allowed into the meeting 2 minutes later.

-Well I don't know if it counts but I declared my availability for the meeting by selecting the YES option on the invite.
-Also from my experience you can only access the meeting at your given date and time.
-I wasn't asked to present any documents though I had them ready
-Lastly, the meeting was actually for 10 minutes

Thank you so much. I have selected yes in response to the mail. This is what I am planning to do. My first date was on 31st June.
On PTDF site was 27th and link came with 27th.

Now, I received another link with different time but still maintained 27th. I will have to start login with the earliest time and date.

By God's grace, I believe it will be hitch free.

If you choose virtual interview and got the link, there is a place for you to respond your availability for the interview at the said time. I think it is wise to respond so the ptdf team can prepare your meeting ahead of time.

Yes, a separate mail. Although it has a different date with the first mail.

But I don't know why people choose physical interviews when there is option for virtual interview and it was smooth as long as u have good Connectivity.

I have a few questions on this.
How many minutes before the time did you log in?
Were you attended to exactly at the time?
I don't know if you have conflicting dates but I have Tue 31st 12 pm, I later saw 27th 12 pm and the mail with link has 27th 12:30 pm. What do you advise?
How long was the interview?
Did you use laptop or phone?

As for their feedback, calm down and wait. If possible, remove your mind from it and go about your businesses. However, check your mail often. If it took them about 1 month to call for aptitude test, it may take about Dane time at this level.

You didn't do the pretest check? You would have confirmed all those before the exam.

The exam is something else. Different from the practice question I received. It wss all a guess work but my trust remains strong in God.

Your exam photocard refers to a valid ID card e.g. Work ID, International Passport, ID-Card, National ID, or Driver’s License.

We are writing the exam online, thus there is no need for Photocard or ID card. Except you were invited to take your exams in a specified center thanks.

Did you try the pretest check? There is a point it will require you to scan your photocard.
