Hi
Lol @ in-house expert.
To be sincere, I haven't reviewed any CV for months now. Not because I don't get requests, but because of a number of other issues. The best I have done over the past few months is to help people submit CVs. I really hope my CV reviewing skills are not a little rusty.
I have 2 CVs I plan to have a look at later in the evening tomorrow. If you forward yours to me on xfire2014@gmail.com, I will add it to the list. In the mail, kindly state the job roles and the type of firm to which you plan to forward the CV , so that it can be tailored towards that.

Cheers.....
xfire i have pushed it right into your inbox. i guess it got stuck there, please pull it out and help me ....

thanks..

Rubbish!!! U just want to be noticed. See small boy wey just dey enter school dey talk. We have been in the system for long and know how the happenings in the system even before Onwudike. How can u guarantee that a Professor like Edeoga who was fired by Enugu state government for diverting fertilizer funds as a Commissioner won't do same thing as a VC. Abeg leave matter or matthias. Let's not just go there.
Bet me that you did not read this post or you read some few lines then jumped to comment.........I must go. there, same staff kept quiet when students were duped cause of a promise of increased allowances are now the victims.....

Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU)

THE CHEERFUL GIVERS AND SMART COLLECTORS

“There is nothing in or out of the
world that is absolutely good except a
good will”
-Lewis White Beck.

Professor Hilary O. Edeoga Vice
Chancellor Michael Okpara University
of Agriculture (MOUAU) as posted by
MOUAU Update on facebook donated
bags of rice to poor widows and
widowers. Same post revealed that he has been doing this art of charity for
the past 10years.
Consequently Edeoga has once again
been christened a philanthropist and a
humble leader. Some commentators
tilted him the best VC. Others commented that he is a man with a heart of gold. Many who are the
afflictions of the righteous prayed that
wherever he got the resources may it
never cease coming.

If one should focus on the habitual arts of Edeoga –at a glance, whatever
he does is absolutely good. He alone
fetches water into dried pots and
owes no one apology suppose the pot
is in no shape to hold water. He is a
cheerful giver of employment, promotion and admission.

Except in 2013 when the university advertized
for vacancies which over 5000persons purchased scratch cards to sit for aptitude test before being employed all other times employment letters has always been readily
available.

On Tuesday 5th January 2016, the staff union after a meeting held at the school stadium embarked on a three days warning strike. This is to express their dissatisfaction over the slash of
November and December salary by 50
per cent or more. Given the available information the strike would have been held last year and that would have disrupted the already fixed date for convocation. It took the kneel appeal of the council chairman
Professor Anya Oko Anya the pro-
chancellor of the university to still the
ranging storm. He was quoted that he
was not avowal of the slash in staff salary and to smooth the appeal promised that though the VC is difficult but he would ensure that December
salary is paid on 15th December. Sadly
15th came no salary 25th came no
salary 31st came no salary.
It was on the 2nd of January 2016 that some
got alert of their salary and to their
shock December salary was slashed.
On Monday 11th January they strike
was called off followed by a meeting at
the Senator Pius Anyim Auditorium. Yesterday 12th the meeting continued
and due to some unresolved issues
the staff given the available
information has begun on an
indefinite strike with a light-protest at
the university stadium. In some departments students receiving
lectures were sent out of the lecture halls.

The way some staff discuss the reason
behind the strike exposes all that is
wrong with Edeoga administration it won’t be long and well oiled media reporters and propaganda team would publish that “there is no crisis in MOUAU”.

Some from memory lane has
been busy digging out debris when
Edeoga was the deputy VC to Onwudike.
They have it said that what is happening now is in many totality the heraldry of Onwudike which left the university is state of division,
confusion, chaos and bitterness. Like a
wind in the air or air in the wind. During Onwudike’s administration
staff salaries were slashed. Not until
senior Staff Association of Nigeria
University (SSANU) sent a team from
Enugu for validation of appointments
many staffs never knew the real status of their salary on their pay-slip.

As discussed, they only got to know their
actual salary from the cheque issued
to them by SSANU. But that did not
stop Onwudike from slashing their
salaries. He ordered that all cheques be returned. His loyalist complied
those who did not comply went with
the cheque to the bank and the
cheques were rejected. If this is so, the
concerns of many is that Edeoga
should have also foreseen the outcome as it was to Onwudike whom after his tenure-ship as a VC could not for his many damages return to the
school soil.
Even when he was compelled to return to duty or forfeit his salary he ended up someday resigning voluntarily from service.
For students of MOUAU whatever the
staff is passing through now is well
deserved. For when the school fees was
increased above 50 per cent
consecutively in two academic sessions, when hostel accommodation
of 240,000 naira per room was made
compulsory for all fresh
undergraduate students the staff
considered students headache as
panadol.
From discussions by students, what is experienced now by the staff
is only a vintage-point from which
staffs can see the elements of their
unashamedly voyeuristic selectiveness
in applauding Edeoga’s stewardship.
What is considered honest in MOUAU is what is considered a serious danger to
public morality in other places.

The generosity is a wide spread and this
has made it difficult to say that the
administration of Edeoga is inimical to
public probity and transparency. If you dare say contrary that he should
be brought under scrutiny pray you
are not in any of his solidarity wagon
for out-rightly you will be called a
sadist or an enemy of progress which
is why though we have heard that a presidential panel has been set up to
investigate what has been going on in
MOUAU how true, remains completely
a mystery for nothing seems to have
changed.
Hostel accommodation is still made compulsory for fresh undergraduate
students despite the fact that many
who were compelled to pay in the
2014/2015 academic session
admissions till today have not been
allocated to any hostel.

Except we must accept that what is
happening today in MOUAU is as
contained in the architectural plan
which Edeoga said he had handy on
the day he was to be interviewed as
the VC. Then like it or not he has built an up-educational standard done out
of raw tech, neo-constructivist style,
and Cambridge standard as befits
Oxford University in Nigeria as his
architectural plan were considered the
latest and the most sophisticated across the country.

Therefore if staff
could agree that MOUAU is one of the
cheapest universities in Nigeria
students have also agreed that MOUAU
is one of the highest staff paying
universities in Nigeria.

All that students are saying is that they
can no longer continue to be the
Akpan and Ekaite of ASUU, NASUU and
SSANU in MOUAU. If Edeoga has been
heard saying that comes-what-may,
matriculations will hold and that first semester examination must begin 1st
of February 2016.

It will be pleasing
that academic activities shouldn’t be
hindered.
