To me, this is the most balanced commentary here. However, I dont know if Ng people are the most wicked.
kudos to you!. Abroad is not meant for everyone. Uk is not meant for all..we fail to articulate the positive part..if uk didn't favor u..look inward and know how to improve yourself. Uk has been a life saving for all the people I know including my family. I do advice people to evaluate the employability ratio of the courses the want to study in uk.

Your absence, stress of bills on your wife couple with kid stress, cold and conji will most likely turn her to something worse than a calabar dog,no offense.
All that so called big nurse salaries abroad look big to you because you dey Nigeria, not there.Let alone someone with 2 kids over there.
I'll be real with you ,no small business have a clear cut certain future. There will be uncertainties.
It's your ability to cling on and whether the storm and adapt to changes that will determine if the business succeeds or not.
You already make 700k monthly,I expect you to be busy looking for ways to scale this to 2m/month,then 5m,etc...
A business that has already started yielding profits is a good one and can be scaled upwards too.
Rather, you are looking at ways to leave what you've built, contacts, etc to go to a strange land as a 35 years old man who already has responsibilities such as wives and kids,to let go of all he has including his family, money he has made from his business to go to an uncertain place to start over with a very bleak future.
Stay strong and fight your way through life man, even there you won't get it easy, so why not fight in the streets you know best? undecided
Relocate to UK with your family and thank me later..ur wife as a nurse will definitely get tier 2 visa which is a very good route to citizenship. U will get job too but may not be immediate.

I got Msc Mental health nursing at Plymouth but you must have recent study. I submitted my recent Masters in Electrical Engineering done in Nigeria to them.

The choice is yours and it's down to your personal preference. Consider which of the career paths you will be most fulfilled in. When you wake up in the morning to defrost your car in the cold or walking to catch the train, which of the choices will put a spring in your steps, which would likely make you want to stay in bed.

Personally, I'ld rather be a social worker than be a nurse, no disrespect to nurses out there. Infact, i have a huge amount of respect for the amazing work you guys do, being part of the fabric that holds our NHS together.

My personal opinion is that nurses are underpaid for the job they do. There is a huge demand for social workers out there too and they are well paid. That said, being a social worker can be a high stress job for someone who isn't resilient and it entails a huge amount of paper work. I have a few social worker friends who enjoy making a difference to society. They are able to work from home or the office whilst still carrying out home visits. Mileages for these visits are reimbursed.

Ultimately, consider how your personality fits in with the roles and what will make you happy in the long term.
Thank you for your input. My major issue with studying Social Work in UK is one's inability to practice outside United Kingdom. The course is limited to Social issues in uk only...incase one wan japa to another country. Lol

UK is overrated. He should go for Ireland. Besides, for UK, once he is done, it is park your load and go back to your country. They are only after students money. No pathway for residency.
Not true..it seems u naturally hate UK .u cannot compare Ireland to UK in terms of opportunities as an immigrant. .There are pathways to PR for students in UK now more than Ireland.
