Lol. Tecno agent? Check all my posts, i don't do Chinese phones. I use an iPhone and galaxy s6. I don't hate any phone but I hate the way tecno agents are over hyping their phones. But the truth is gionee m5 is not a better phone than boom j8. I've played with both phones, j8 is more sleek while m5 has a Big nig battery but it is just too bulky for my likeness. Oh and the display sucks... that is for both phones. Why keep releasing 5.5 inch phones with 720p display when they could have just made the screen like 4.7-5 inch, that would give a better PPI. And I still wonder why gionee would think 55k is right price for phone with such terrible display.

oga u can never ever compare an ips LCD to amoled Pls! Even back in the days wen galaxy 2 was still in vogue even with a low ppi of 217 the colours where still vivid and awesome. Me personally am not a fan of big batteries on phones so I cnt tell u I like m5 Buh wen it comes to screen material I will always choose amoled to ips and moreover I bought dat j8 sold it off within 3days cos I hate d display quality with passion and even d touch sensitivity. I got an splus and I've always been happier

My only drawback for xiaomi phones is Chinese rom palava, I formerly used redmi note 2 until I bought gionee S-plus, which I can comfortable tell you is better in terms of camera and battery.

u forgot to mention display quality, get the gionee splus u cnt go wrong

I don't know where to post this thing but the MOD can move it to the right section, this is to warn all those who go to petrol station to get fuel there is a serious scam going on there because I have been a victim several times, ok let me get straight to the point. Due to this high price in petrol the fuel attendants use this opportunity to underdispense petrol to customers without the customers knowing, let me give an example let's say you want to buy petrol of 1000 at the price of 150, it's supposed be 6.6 liters but the attendant will like to key in 6.06 which is wrong. So am using medium to warn everyone to watch out for such.

One of tecno's problem is inconsistency, marshmallow was around before tecno lunched phantom 5 but dey refused to use it mind u phantom 5 is a flagship device, ok dey lunched another device called boom j8 and one of the key point on the device is the new ui/ux been hi os which dey still used lollipop and marshmallow was also available dey didn't used it, mind u boom j8 is also a flagship device in its own segment. Ok now dey lunch a low end device with marshmallow and dey want to start hyping it even the so called hi os ui us not even skinned into the marshmallow, sometimes I wonder if tecno produce their device themselves cos the inconsistency is just too much

pay me for what? I'm telling u I wasted money buying j8 am nw looking for buyer even if it's 38k no problem. Me coming from Samsung (A5 precisely)my expectations where high but j8 was not just d phone for me. Funny enough when I went to buy a phone I saw dis gionee Buh the tecno sales rep told me dat j8 is better so I went for it, mind u it's not my 1st tecno phone cos I've used phantom z and z mini all are good phones with better screen quality and camera. I dnt hate tecno phones Buh I can't use a phone with bad touch sensitivity no matter how hard I try. I just have 3 problems with j8, 1 bad touch sensitivity 2 no white balance on camera thus making the pictures look whitish 3 I dnt just like ips screens especially not the one dat has been stretched over a 5.5 inches making it not to have good viewing angles. Mind u these are personal choice.my choice might be different from urs. I'm not posting anything to get paid, dnt even no how dey will pay me sef am only dropping my opinion

Someone that bought his gionee splus this year has already changed battery and bought charger once more, the phone heats up when playing games as for the 3g and 4g, yes it does ve.....I love the phone but could not just go for it. Can I also add that you ve to swipe from buttom up to get the notification bar.

it took me time to see dat bottom swipe but I love it. If u say the person bought battery and charger within months I will still tell u in depends on usage o. Me I no what I want in a phone. I always like a phone with amoled screen because I like the best screen quality on a phone and 2 my touch screen has to be very sensitive, do u know u can still make this gionee extra sensitive by turning on glove usage

Hm, the cable spoils oo, it does not matter how you use it, and secondly it's not a gaming phone as it gets really hot while gaming.

guy dis phone is a confirmed gaming phone, it's doesn't get hot even on 3g and yes it does have 4g too

How much did you buy the splus? I wanted to go for it, but the lack if front cam flash and the type C USB cable which is rare and gets spoiled easily made me lose interest.

i bought 45, the cable doesn't spoil dat easily u just have to be careful with it dats all.the display is 1 million, very rich color production, camera super, I dnt really care abt front flash on a phone cos I dnt take pictures in the night. The touch screen sensitivity is dsame as Samsung, in fact gionee really tried and dis is my 1st gionee phone
