Note 5 has a higher processor, but I will choose Redmi 6 pro over it anyday.. You know why? I don't consider SD 636 as a major upgrade from a guy coming from SD 625. Would rather go for a phone with a much more higher processor starting from SD 660

Screenbleed looks like something all or most of the units in this batch would have.
It is uniform accross the bottom only, not like the ones you see and know that something may need fixing.
You'd have to slap a dark wall paper if it bothers you.

Redmi Note 6 pro First Impressions after 2 hours.
The phone is built like a tank.
I'm impressed with the AI camera. The quality is good and there's no need for GCAM.
It didn't ship with MIUI 10 but version 9.6.8.
It restarted once while I was installing apps.
3GB RAM is not holding apps in memory at all but I would do a speed and ram management test.

Note 5 is better. Fast battery charging and almost the same battery perfomance, the Note 5 last more cos of the Helio P23 chipset which is also good for HD and heavy games than the Pouvoir 2 cant handle, better ppi and screen display, dual 4G SIMs, better camera, better storage and memory and mouth watering Android 9 Pie update coming early next year
